Recipe for disaster: Combine one bratty, high-heeled boy band star with a strict, legendary manager who also happens to be a Daddy Dom. Stir briskly. Then stand back and wait for the explosion.
A meltdown of epic proportions is only the beginning when Silas James takes over the management duties of dance music sensation, Three Trick Pony. The band’s superstar status is in question thanks to lead singer Jett’s diva attitude. Silas would love to get Jett alone and give him a hearty spanking. Trouble is, he’d like to do plenty of other kinky things to the femme boy as well..
Jett can’t believe his record company hired the biggest asshole he’s ever met to manage the band. Who does the gorgeous hunk think he is, telling the great Jett Fine what to do? No worries. He’ll get the jerk in bed then have him wrapped around his pinkie finger in no time. This Silas character might think he’s being cool, but Jett can tell when a man is panting after a femme boy who can work it in lingerie and high heels.
But what if Silas is the one with all the tricks up his sleeve?

REVIEW:
A quick romp with a sassy boy in lace, 5” stilettos and perfect makeup vs a hunky Daddy Dom that knows what this boy really needs!!!
Jett Fine is the lead singer/dancer in the hugely popular boy band Three Trick Pony. The band has been through rough times of late. Their manager Bob has quit and Paul and Jett literally can’t stand being in the same room. Jett knows Paul was originally slated to be lead but the buying public want what they want and that’s all Jett. Luckily his best friend Tory rounds out the group and tries to keep Jett’s inner diva somewhat under control. But when the recording company sends the new manager to literally babysit them Jett can’t control his Diva Bitch mouth. He has worked too hard to let two nobody’s come in and steal his spotlight. That guy had better think again. I mean he’s gorgeous and all muscly but that doesn’t give him the right to just waltz in there and change everything…or does it???
Jett needed someone to love him and show him that he truly is worth it. He hasn’t had that since his homophobic father took his older brother and walked out. He wasn’t staying around to watch his wife make a sissy out of the boy by putting him in ballet! But Jett was really talented and a star with American Ballet Theatre until that tragic injury that ended his ballet career…and his relationship with his last parent. Now he is singing and dancing his way to pop stardom. But how long can he last as he fast approaches 30?
Watching Papa Silas as he struggled with what he knew Jett needed but put it aside for professionalism almost cost him the boy in the long run. This isn’t the first book I’ve read that has the manager and the lead singer falling for each other. But the violent turn of events that lead them to finally open up how they each really felt turned out to be reckless and dangerous. He knew that Jett was scared and that he was putting himself at risk with his flighty and self-indulgent behavior. They were both luck that Jett wasn’t hurt worse than he was.
One of the things that bothered me a bit was that the powers that be didn’t want him smoking because he was the lead singer but the whole book focused on his dancing abilities, his knee injuries and choreography. It was like they never practiced their singing ever or even discussed that part. A pop band dancing isn’t anything new and those guys have to constantly practice on their routines for the videos and road tour shows however it’s the records that are their big bucks. That threw me a bit. Shouldn’t they have been working on writing and practicing new material when the dancing part was down? Also, I was surprised at the record company’s decision. Any kind of free publicity is money in the bank. Jett almost being killed would have revved up their popularity to the max. I couldn’t believe they weren’t all over that.
I did enjoy this book. It’s a fast read that explores a bit of mild daddy kink and also some exploration of long lasting self issues.
