A Lonely Heroes Holiday Story
The heroes from Golden Elite Associates—America have put their plans and lives on hold for a year as they try to cope with the aftermath of Lawry “Casper” Schatz and Maxim Partee’s engagement party—the night Blue was bombed by an unknown assailant. The explosion impacted everyone’s lives, and recovery has been slow for the group.
In the spirit of turning the page on the incident, Shepard “Smokey” Colson and Parker Howzer decide to host a bachelor party at their lake house. They invite all of their friends to join them for a celebratory weekend, and what better time to have a big party than New Years!
Each couple is ready to move forward with their plans in one way or another—someone wants a baby; someone wants to live part of the year in another country; two have job opportunities that will be life changing; someone wants to make future plans that include starting a family; the desire for a forever home is important to another hero. How will they achieve their goals? That’s what they’re all hoping to figure out. Add in a few surprise guests with unclear agendas, and let the chaos begin!
One thing is certain—someone’s going to tie the knot!
This book is approximately 70,000 words in length and ends happily. It is the seventh book in the series entitled, “The Lonely Heroes.”
REVIEW:
Wow! Just wow! This was everything I hoped for and even more!
Parker and Smokey are inviting the whole gang down to their lake house for their bachelor party. However Smokey, Mateo and Casper all have different plans. They are plain tired of waiting for their fiancés Parker, Shay and Maxi to finally tie the knot with them. Now they have recruited Dom and Bruno to help with the secret mission to marry their men at 11:55pm New Year’s Eve. The have all their friends, Hank and Reed, Gabe and Dexter, Nemo and Ben, there so it’s the perfect set up. Now they just have to execute it with exact precision!
I absolutely loved that we got to spend time with all the couples from the previous books. We even got to go back to Casper and Hank’s parents house for a bit and met their son. I loved that Jewel is an aunt now and helping out.
I was concerned that Smokey, Mateo and Casper’s plan could blow up in their faces like Casper and Maxi’s engagement party did but I should have known better. Sam E. Kraemer is a master at writing this universe and she went the extra mile on this one!
If you are as huge of fan of this series as I am you will most definitely have to give yourself a special Christmas treat with this one. If you haven’t read this series yet then you are in for a fun marathon of reading. I can’t recommend this fun catch-up novel enough! These lonely heroes and their magnificent mates are so special. A must-read in my opinion.
