Josaiah has known he was gay since he was seven. He’s experienced in more ways than one—with sex, with other men, and as a Dominant. But love is something he can’t accept or give, and he’s walled himself off from any kind of affection.

REVIEW:
Let’s talk about an intense read. My goodness, it was SUPER intense. I’m not sure where to start this review, the further the story went, the more I got addicted.
The main characters Caleb and Josaiah were something else. Nothing simple here to find.
Complicated characters and a complex plot. For me a breathtaking story in more than one way.
There are quite important aspects about the men which I don’t want to reveal because of spoiling. It’s way better to discover yourself.
Caleb is traumatized, he’s far away in the closet, it’s wasn’t and will never be safe to come out.
Meeting Josaiah makes him angry and vulnerable. When Josaiah hears Caleb’s voice for the first time at the BDSM club, he’s impressed and wants to know the man, only Caleb is rude, disrespectful and after a homophobic rant he hurries away.
The Dom in Josaiah wants to help Caleb, who’s a natural submissive, to show him what could be.
Caleb is afraid to love, his association is horrible, it was heartbreaking to watch him deny it.
The storms raged in his head, are so palpable, the anxiety attacks ditto.
It’s the same for Josaiah, he’s qualified at a lot of things, as a Dominant, as a sex partner, as a friend, except when it’s about love.
We can watch them go forward and backward, it isn’t simple at all!
Both men, Dom and sub, are deeply scarred by their past, watch their redeeming! It is stunning and very emotional!
The writing has a very pleasant flow, the author has her own innovative voice, and I loved it. The BDSM, Sir/boy dynamic was exceptional and fascinating, absolutely fascinating! Both men were super emotional, tears are flowing regularly, anger, hate, none of these emotions were hidden, there’s a lot of it, and nothing is sugarcoated.
Some extraordinary very dedicated friends, family and colleagues are a great addition and a strong choice.
The author did an amazing job, it was an immensely enthralling and unforgettable story! ALL the stars!
