REVIEW:
Ahh, such a sweet Daddy boy story. I love me some strong protective Daddy who wants to protect his boy at all costs.
At the local bar, PJ accidentally knocked Jack unconscious. PJ is a 7 feet mountain. The boy is small and thin.
PJ takes the boy with him to the cabin.
Jack only wants to have a job so he can buy food, he’s so hungry. The big man wants him to stay in the cabin and wants to take care of him. Jack has a secret, he’s on the run, nobody can know where he is.
PJ is one of seven brothers and who live at the cabin, it seems impossible, but they are all Daddy’s.
He just knows Jack is a boy, still, the boy doesn’t acknowledge it, until he can’t deny it anymore.
PJ takes charge, decides what’s good for the boy and what’s not, he knows the boy got a secret. Time will tell.
A super sweet story, it’s a short read, the important parts are enough developed, the rest slightly and also enough for the whole picture l
I would have loved some more Daddy boy time, lots of story goes to PJ’s family and Jack’s work.
There’s just a small proportion of anxiety, about Jack’s past, nothing heavy, but certainly, original thought out, also a bit of hurt comfort and an overprotective Daddy to complete the picture.
The circumstances are exceptional, all brothers are Daddy’s, not everyone has a boy for himself, so there will be more coming from this series.
This was my first read from this series, now I have to take a look at the previous ones, I want to know what happened to the other brothers and their boys.
Overall an entertaining, enjoyable, and comfortable-paced story, with lovable characters and a nice light plot.
