For the first time, Max has it all…and he intends to keep everything, even if it means encouraging his stalker.
Max has never had much in life, but his luck changes when he inherits a fortune from an ex-lover, a lucrative strip club, a ghost that knows his deadly secret, and a stalker fixated on Max. Focused on running the strip club, Max doesn’t have time for romance. He sure as hell isn’t counting on out-of-town biker President Crowe to turn his world upside down.
Crowe’s arrival in Smoky Vale is all business…Get Grimm to join the alliance of bikers and help maintain the order of the Smoky Vale chapter. When he runs into Max, he feels desire—for the first time in years,. Unwilling to let that go, Crowe returns to a dangerous habit…stalking his prey. He’ll do anything to protect Max, but Max must never know the creep who watches him from the shadows and kills for him is the same man who warms his bed and heart.
When the secret Max and Crowe hide from each other is revealed, will it destroy them or bring them closer together?
Crowe’s Creed is a 100k+ outlaw biker romance with mild Daddy kink, a wealthy ex-stripper too jaded for love and a demisexual biker willing to go to extremes to keep the boy who makes him feel.
Trigger warning for mild mentions of torture, violence, drug use, human trafficking, child neglect, and endangerment.
REVIEW:
When I was originally asked if I would like to do a new book by Gianni I jumped up and said yes. Then I was told it was part way into a series that I hadn’t read and it was about a Motorcycle Club of gay bikers. Not a usual MC story. I decided I would take a chance because I have loved her other stories. I never, ever expected to fall so hard for these troubled men and their mischievous boys.
Crowe, chairman of the Board of Biker Alliance and president of the Bloodlets MC. Riverton, is in Smoky Vale for a couple missions. First, he needs to convince the Grimm Reapers, a gay-friendly MC, to join their MC alliance. This would open the door for some of their club members to feel more comfortable admitting their true sexuality. Second, he needs to clean up the mess the president of the Bloodlets Smoky Vale chapter has let his club fall into. He needs to get order back in their current chaos and monitor their current shady dealings. Never did he suspect that staying with the Reapers at their compound clubhouse would lead him to someone her desires. Crowe isn’t like his fellow club members. Casual hook-ups and one-night sex escapades just aren’t his thing. Hell, sex isn’t even on the radar since Merry! And fixating on the gorgeous man…WTH is up with him. He’s not gay! He’s just not anything!!! But something in Max is awakening feelings and stirrings that just aren’t a usual part of him. Max is having a hard time since Kane’s death. He has inherited the Vice & Virtue Strip Club plus all of Kane’s properties and possessions. However, he’s only 22 and no one seemed to have faith in the former stripper/exotic dancer, especially Maurice, his personal body guard. When Crowe winds up rescuing Max from being roofied and almost raped he has to protect the boy that no one is protecting.
I find my heart heavy that these bikers and their significant others have weaseled their way into my heart and are now leaving me. This is the end of this series but the author stated “We’re back to wrap up The Grimm Tales of Smoky Vale series, but never fear, it’s not the last we’ll see of these guys. In fact, by the end of this novel, I hope you will have fallen as hard as I have for a few men who will continue the legacy of Smoky Vale.” This leaves my heart full of promises that we will still get to see Grimm and the other members of the Grimm Reapers MC along with Jamie and the other boys. This book perfectly set-up the need for Crowe to remain in Smoky Vale and reorganized and clean up the Bloodlets MC. And Crowe and Max are it for each other. Crowe’s Demi-sexuality has sealed it for him. Max is his one and his stalker/Daddy tendencies worked to convince Max he’s out to love home not use him as all the men in his young life have done before. Max discovered that he’s not as disposable as he always was lead to believe.
I am very excited for the new spin-off series but it’s going to truly be hard to let my Grimm Reapers go. I love these tough, fiercely protective men. And their boys and their antics will be hard to top. I’m sure that they will be stopping by the new series but I’m going to miss them.
I can sincerely recommend all these books in the series. And there are bonus books available for free too. I will warn you, there are some disturbing scenes in them, as you would expect with a group of tough bikers in a MC, but the tenderness of each biker with the man he falls for is worth those gritty moments.
