REVIEW:
Matt finds his girlfriend cheating and he’s devastated. He was planning this big romantic trip to Fiji to propose. While crying on his best friend’s shoulder, he decides the two of them should just take the trip so that he doesn’t have to explain to his mother what happened with Jessica.
Caspian never liked Jessica. He’s of course upset about what’s happened to his friend – almost as upset as he is by the revelation that Matt was planning to propose? The hell? But while comforting Matt, he agrees to go on the non-refundable trip that Matt has booked to Fiji over Christmas. He’ll do anything to help Matty feel better about all this.
Well this trip does NOT go a planned at all. Matt is surprised to find out that Caspian has been attracted to him. And it doesn’t make him mad – in fact it has quite an opposite affect. All of the sudden he’s seeing his best friend in a new light. And he really likes it 😉 Caspian is surprised and worried that this new twist will ruin their friendship and that he can’t live without. But Matt’s determine to take their friendship to a new level. Despite Caspian’s worries that Matty is just “holigay” and will go back to being straight when they get home, he can’t help himself 😀
Oh my! This was ADORABLE! I loved Caspian so so much. He’s so quick and lively and so right for Matt. He’s funny and sweet and charming – he’s even nice to guys who hit on him that he has no intention of following up with. He’s so understanding with Matt and also he’s pretty free with his heart with Matt – even knowing it could really blow up in his face. Matt is a big marshmallow! He’s got it bad and he’s surprised but not in a bad or freaked out way. I man Caspian IS is BFF for life. They are so in synch in so many ways and when he realizes what’s been in front of him all along, he’s anxious to just get on with it, much to Caspian’s surprise. There little sexcapades in Fiji are just the start of the new chapter of their story. This short story is sexy and sweet and such a happy ending 😉 Highly recommended for fans of bi-awakening, friends to lovers with a lovely holiday twist.
