List story ideas you hope to tackle in the future
I have a number of idea that are sitting on the back burner in simmer mode for how. I have an idea worked up for The Prodigal Billionaire. A redemption, second chance romance with characters growing into their new roles in life. I also have The Secret Heir. It’s an enemies to lovers, type story with a secret baby that happens to eb the lost heir to a family dynasty.
I’m currently finishing up the third story in the Heavy Lifting series. I also have a western ticking the back of my story. A contemporary story about the importance of honesty, family, duty, and following the path that leads to happiness. Also, I have a new series, Carlisle Medical, that’s coming together.
I swear that’s all for now. More stories will bubble up I’m sure. All I need to do is give them time to bubble up.

Blurb/Synopsis:
“Uncle Terrance got mad,” Joshie said.
Coby nodded. “He punched someone.” They looked at each other.
Terrance groaned. “They were really bad men and they were being mean to people. Don’t either of you go hitting anyone.” He glanced apologetically at Daniel, Cheryl, and Tucker. “The only reason I hit him was because he tried to hit me first.” He hoped he hadn’t set a bad example.
“We don’t go hitting people,” Daniel said, with Tucker echoing it. “No matter what Uncle Terrance has to do. Okay?”
Both boys nodded solemnly.
Once Annie began delivering their orders, the incident seemed to be forgotten soon enough over hamburgers and bowls of macaroni and cheese.
“Go ahead and order,” Terrance told his guest. “Annie will bring you whatever you’d like.”
The man nodded and placed an order for a hamburger and salad with ranch dressing. Terrance shared a conspiratorial look with Coby.
“What’s your name?”
“He’s Ashton,” Gerome answered.
“You know him?”
Gerome nodded and reached over the table to shake Ashton’s hand. “You remember those blown-glass pumpkins and snowmen we had at the store? He’s the guy who made them.” Gerome smiled and introduced everyone. “And the guy who saved the day is Terrance.”
“Um… thank you. I didn’t know what to do to get away.” He seemed like a deer with the most incredible eyes ever, caught in the headlights. “I appreciate you getting me away from those guys. I didn’t know what they were going to do.”
Terrance accepted his plate from Annie, who turned to Ashton. “Yours will be out in a few minutes. I asked the kitchen to rush it for you.” She refilled their glasses and brought Coby some extra ranch dressing. It seemed Coby had found the joys of the stuff—he looked about ready to drink it.
“Thank you,” Ashton told her and then turned to Terrance. “I don’t know why you’re doing this. You don’t owe me anything. I was the one stupid enough to be caught by them.”
“Bullshit,” Terrance said, offering Ashton some of his fries while he waited. “Those men were looking for someone to take advantage of. I’m just sorry that you got caught by them. And you need to eat. This is sort of a family dinner night. It’s Joshie’s birthday, so we’ll be having cake later.” He was hoping to entice the cute guy to stick around for a little fun.
“Yeah. It’s chocolate cake,” Joshie interjected as though that alone was worth just about anything. “And Uncle Terrance got me dinosaurs for my birthday. You can play with them if you’re sad.”
Ashton actually smiled, the darkness evaporating from his features in an instant. Damn, his smile was radiant. Terrance swallowed hard. It had been quite a while since something that simple turned his head, and he found himself wondering all kinds of things he probably shouldn’t be thinking about. At least not in front of the kids. “I’m good, thank you—and your uncle,” Ashton said as Annie placed his plate in front of him.
