BLURB:
Alden has always liked a challenge, and what could be more difficult than not one, but two stubborn boys?
Five years ago the military returned me home short one leg with scars covering one side of my body. I learned to live with it, I built a new life for myself, and I found a way to love the new body I was given… there’s just one thing I can’t accept.
I have no right to want someone as vibrant and beautiful as Nolan, not when a very vital part of my anatomy doesn’t want to work anymore. What use would a man like that be to him?
Alden can’t seem to stop meddling between the two of us, and I hate to admit it, but there’s something about him that manages to fix what’s broken in me.
Has anyone else ever developed a Daddy kink after getting blown to smithereens, or is it just me?
More importantly, are the three of us going to be able to find a way to fit together?
REVIEW:
NOTE: This is the third book in this series. As such it does contain spoilers for the first two book, but it can be read as a standalone.
Nolan is a party planner. He’s friends with Gannon – who is an assistant to three billionaires who we know from the previous books in the series. Tow of these buys- Barrett and Kiernan, have settled down with their boys, Sterling and Emerson (who also happen to be friends). Alden, the third man, has had a lot of trouble finding what he needs – so much so that he has stopped even looking really. He can’t remember the last time he went to the club or got anything beyond a momentary release. He needs a bratty boy who likes to be punished, but it hasn’t worked so far. He does have eyes on Gannon, but he’s an employee and well, he shouldn’t.
Nolan has been longing for Gannon for some time. When he finally decides to go for it, Gannon backs off. He’s not willing to tell Nolan why he isn’t the man for him – because he does want Nolan. He’s just sure he could never be enough for him. Alden is very observant and decides he’s going to help. But he might be able to help himself as well? Who knows. He definitely wants to give it a shot.
So Daddy kink sill isn’t really my thing. That being said, this is my week for books just getting stronger and stronger in a series and this one is definitely my favorite in this series. KM Neuhold is an autobuy author for me and I don’t care the trope, genre, series or stand alone. Her ability to write complex and interesting characters who manage to find and fight their way to “Happily Ever Afters” is astounding. These three guys could not be more different – their backgrounds, their personalities, their experiences, etc. But they absolutely fit together. Writing a poly story that is believable is also difficult and this one is just so good. The relationship builds without the jealousy that can sometimes be such drama in these stories. The heat level of these three together is off the charts! Each man is able to help the others in their own way – and it’s relationship of equals. I absolutely loved it. I’m sad this series is over, but I highly recommend that you take this lovely ride with these men. It will give you ALL the feels. 😀
