PUBLISHER: Self Published
LENGTH: 183 pages
RELEASE DATE: November 1, 2021
BLURB:
All I want for Christmas is my stepbrother.
Okay, maybe all I want for Christmas is to be my stepbrother. Brad is everything I’m not. Smart. Responsible. Acing college. The son my dad always wanted and the stepbrother I never did.
And as cute as he is annoying.
Meanwhile, I’m a college dropout with a dead end job, nosediving into bad decision after bad decision. I really don’t need to make another one.
Too late, I guess.
That kiss in the basement? Mistake.
What we did with that wooden spoon in the kitchen? Mistake.
And that day hanging out at Santa’s Village that should have been boring and corny but was somehow Christmas movie romantic? Huge mistake.
It turns out Brad isn’t as perfect as I thought. He’s actually kind of an adorable, irresistible mess who needs someone with a firm hand to take care of him. But I can barely take care of myself, so that person can’t be me, right?
The last thing I need is to catch feelings for the one guy I can’t have feelings for.
Right?
Too late, I guess.
**Please Note: What Happens at Christmas was originally published as Naughty AF. The title and cover have changed and a few scenes have been extended, but the story and ending remain the same. There’s no need to repurchase if you’ve already read Brad and Rex’s story!
If this is your first time meeting them, you can expect a warm, toasty, red hot MM Christmas romance stuffed full of festive fluff, accidental instalove, and lots of holiday spankings. One grump, one brat, one secret winter break hookup between stepbrothers that’s all completely casual… until it’s not.
REVIEW:
When a grumpy new stepbrother is your secret fantasy and you’re a naughty boy what could go wrong?
Brad is struggling. He’s struggling with transitioning from the really bright, honor student in high school to not adjusting well at all to living alone in a dorm where he isn’t the wonder student. Now he has returned to his childhood home and is sharing a Jack-and-Jill bath with his new stepbrother who is also his wet dream fantasy. When the naughty Brad sets it up for Rex to discover his secret fantasy desires some kinky Christmas wishes might just be coming true!
I don’t know how much time elapsed between Brad’s Mom and Rex’s Dad’s getting married and when this book takes place. I know that they only dated 6 weeks before they got married. And they must have lived in the same house before Brad left for college because he had snooped in Rex’s room before he left. But it was like the two didn’t have interaction until the Christmas break. Then it was insta-attraction!
I did like both boys and they did seem to have good chemistry. They both weren’t big on anal sex so that was non existent but there is a lot of mutually getting the other off after the spanking scenes. The spankings seemed to have transported Brad to a calm serenity that he could never achieve by himself. Sleep was better. Focusing seemed better. And pleasing Rex definitely pleased Brad. Plus Rex was very resourceful at making common household items prevertible!
I loved how Brad introduced the grumpy Rex to the wonders of Christmas. And that each boy discovered that they other wasn’t what they originally thought they were. Brad wasn’t so perfect and Rex had a softer side he kept closely guarded. Together they learned that they were the perfect match for each other.
