Adam Marsland has a plan.
He’s been managing the Braided Crop Ranch for six years and wants to bring everybody he can find back for a week of games, competition, and celebration.
Henry Swift was a ponyboy at the BCR during its very first year. He learned to trot, pull a cart, and submit to his trainer. He’s never quite left the experience behind and is excited to receive Adam’s invitation to return.
But it’s not only the Ranch and its sex-positive atmosphere pulling Henry back to the seclusion of the Muskoka wilderness.
Ever since their first frantic and lustful encounter in the woods, Henry’s had a thing for Adam Marsland and his memories of his tumultuous time on the ranch have haunted him for years. Adam’s still at the ranch, and now Henry can go back and discover if the older man has any regret for the way things turned out in the past.
But the gymkhana Adam’s planning means the return of a plethora of ponyboys and trainers and Henry wonders if he will have trouble reminding Adam how much they wanted to be together back then, and how possible it might be for them now, in the midst of the excitement and testosterone.
No one ever said love was easy, but Henry is determined to make the most of his chance.
REVIEW:
The concept of the Braided Crop Ranch is exquisite, a kinky ranch managed by Adam Marsland, where men can explore and practice their kinks with pony play, full gear, how awesome is that!
There are many sexy moments, men are freely and safely exploring each other, free-spirited.
Celebrating BCR’s sixth anniversary Henry, as one of the first pony-boys, also got an invitation. He will go, of course, he can’t forget Adam and their special time, until Adam retreated and left him, kind of heartbroken.
Adam knows he made bad choices, rejecting Henry and what they had. Seeing the beautiful redhead again, not twenty-eight anymore, his heart still belongs to him.
We can join them, celebrating the anniversary. All those feelings behind the gear, I felt them. The scenes were exquisite and vividly pictured.
While I yearned for more quality time with Adam and Henry, meeting Kamal, Luke, and many others, they were so much fun, it compensated it greatly.
Luke got a lot of (deserved) attention in this story, the impertinent boy needs some corrections and who can give this better than… yes!! Not gonna spoil here ha!
There are impressive intimate moments, wow, I loved them, they were awesomely and quite intensely pictured.
I did miss a bit of struggle or/and hurt, but that’s on me, I’m a sucker for hurt. The story was amicable, the kinky environments delicious, the domination and humiliation scorching, the kinky encounters explicit and delicious.
I loved this third book of the Braided Crop Series, I also loved all the characters, everyone got a nice spot in this story.
The author writes clear, very focused, honest, passionate, and very enjoyable.
