That omega needs a spanking.
Cloud’s life is in turmoil, but why remains a mystery to his friends. Partying and his favorite moonshine only give him a night’s worth of relief, but to him it’s better than nothing.
Marco has no patience for an omega who doesn’t appreciate having so many people in his corner, but when his boss asks him to guard Cloud’s hot little body, he averts his eyes, pulls up his big boy pants, and does his job.
When Cloud considers what was almost a night of tragedy his fault, the repercussions are shocking. Can fated mates who both believe the goddess is punishing them ever find a HEA with their other half?
Continue the journey in Sammi Cee’s new mpreg shifter world with an omega getting blackout drunk, hate sex a-plenty, the same omega steaming up the stage with his new look—stilettos and makeup—back to back births, and besties who won’t let their friends run away from the best thing that’s ever happened to them.
REVIEW:
This series just keeps getting better and better!
Cloud is a mess and everyone is very worried about him. Him and his constant companion…a mason jar of Orange Creamsicle Moonshine! When the guardians come to town, and Mystic (Cloud’s bestie) and Blaze become fated mates, Blaze assigns his best friend Marco to his mate’s bestie Cloud. That boy needs someone watching out for him and even Mama Birdie and Aurora have to agree. They’ve been worried too. And, after the bloodbath Blaze and Mystic survived, Marco needs to take care of the very drunk and puking Cloud. But what he doesn’t expect is the tearful man and his glorious smell when his concealer is accidentally removed! Now what is to happen when you are sealed fated mates but old insecurities seem to be trying to keeping them apart?
I had no idea what Cloud’s story was but never suspected this is what it was and drove him to his moonshine most nights. Nor did I figure out why Marco was so disgusted with his antics. Now it all makes total sense! Cloud’s lack of letting anyone close and trusting them after the betrayal he endured. And Marco’s steadfastness on the drunkenness. These two men had so much to overcome but the Goddess knows what she’s doing and she doesn’t get fated mates wrong ever!
I loved that Marco wanted to be a gentleman even though he and Cloud did everything literally backward. And his encouragement of Cloud breaking out to preform as he had been desiring was awesome.
I’m wondering if we will get the studious Garland’s story next. It’s going to take someone strong and determined to get that boy’s eyes out of the books and onto them.
But the story I really, really, really want is the mysterious Caesar’s. What kind of shifter is he…or is he something else? I love how he rescued all the boys, gave them a safe place to work and to live, and then was the ultimate protector of his boys.
As I stated earlier, these stories just keep getting better and better as their world becomes more pronounced. Be sure to read all the books in order to get the full Carousal Lounge experience.
