One week under the scorching southern Italian sun. Is it enough to find out there’s someone for everyone? One older, resigned little and a belligerent lone Daddy doubt it.
Rowan escaped to Puglia to work through his grief of losing his husband by rebuilding a derelict cluster of the region’s heritage buildings. His friends told him he was stupid and quickly dropped away, leaving him to complete the dream he’d shared with Marcus.
Three long years later, the Trulli Cupido is ready for guests, adults with the same penchant as him: exclusive holidays for Daddies and their littles or boys. But he doubts he’ll find himself another Daddy; he’s too old now. Until he walks in, and hope soars in his chest.
Ethan can’t believe he’s been let down and is now on holiday by himself. Being a lone Daddy on a holiday for couples is going to be a disaster. The brilliant white cone-topped villa is stunning and romantic, but the chance of finding a little will be slim to none. But he never expected his host, the most beautiful man he’s ever seen. Could he be the one for him?

REVIEW:
A JJ Harper book about Littles and their Daddies…yes please!!!
Rowan has lived the last five years trying to live without his dear husband Marcus after a tragedy took his life. Now he is trying to honor him and his memory by completing and opening Trulli Cupido, a Daddy and their Littles resort in Italy, that they bought together to renovate and open. When, just before the next week’s guests arrive, Marcus comes to Rowan in his dream and tells him “It’s time to open your heart again, my love. You’ve grieved for long enough. I love you, and I know you love me, my best boy. But he’s coming for you soon, and when he finds you, let him in. Rowan, you deserve him.” Him, it turns out is Ethan, a Daddy that has been looking for his perfect boy every since he witnessed that scene “that was over three years ago. I’d watched one scene with an older little and his younger, smaller Daddy, and that image had seared in my mind. The way the little had regressed into his younger self as his Daddy put him in his nappy and dressed him had struck a cord in me, and I knew that was what I’d been searching for. I’d wanted that ever since.” Can a chance encounter be the answer to both men’s desires and dreams?
I’m not usually one for one look and I’ve found the perfect love I’ve been searching for however I think Marcus, coming to Rowan in his dream, paved the path for me. Rowan found the way to move on in his heart only after Marcus gave his blessing.
I never liked Johnny/John for Ethan. I didn’t trust him and Ethan knew he wasn’t his true happiness but more a passing to help ease his way until he found his true love and perfect boy. What Johnny did at the airport was uncool. He was a spoiled man that took what he wanted, even if it wasn’t right for either men, and then, when he couldn’t have what he wanted, set out to destroy true love. What a mean-spirited and truly spoiled person he was. Maybe a strong Dom will change his ways.
I especially liked Luke and Mattie. They were true blue friends and Mattie and Rowan had a friend like themselves to feel even more at ease.
Rowan and Ethan just worked for me and their unconventional relationship was a special twist that I enjoyed. Their needs perfectly complimented each other. I know that Marcus and Rowan used to frequent clubs and I wondered if they were the couple that Ethan witnessed before but the timeline didn’t match because Marcus would have already been dead and Rowan in Italy working on his/their dream.
This is a quick paced book that is part of a multi-author series. It was a fast read that I thoroughly enjoyed but, as usual, wished there was more…but that’s the normal for me.
