REVIEW:
This may have been my first book by this author but definitely won’t be my last…I loved it!
Sam and Charlie are two married and mated omegas that have spent their life savings trying to have a baby. Each time it doesn’t take is a harder blow than the last failed time. When they run out of money an unique opportunity presents itself. They can rent out their extra room to their best friend’s brother who is moving to Valleywood and needs a place to stay. Oh, and he’s a young alpha! But when Sam runs into their future roommate in their lobby things change in a heart beat. Tyler is not only gorgeous but their mate!
I really felt for all three men. Sam and Charlie have pursued their dream of finally having a baby only to be continually crushed. I know how that feels way to personally. They didn’t have home pregnancy tests back then so I would suffer the horror of yet another failed attempt in an obstetrician‘s office and then have to leave tear stained walking through a room filled with pregnant women. The author got that devastation perfectly. But,, just like Sam and Charlie, I got my happy ending too! And poor Tyler. He’s just arrived minutes before in Valleywood to start his new life and WAM! He literally runs into his mate…well actually two of them. Then he keeps putting his foot in his mouth! That poor guy just couldn’t catch a break. But really he did but just didn’t realize it. They were the perfect triad in the end. Loving and supportive of their mates.
I know that this book is part of a series by various authors and I don’t know if I will make it to the other books but I’m super thankful that I stumbled upon this one and can’t wait to read more of this author’s stories. She managed to pack a whole book, that don’t feel too rushed, into a novella. That’s a huge accomplishment on its own. I can’t recommend enough this sweet, quick read!
