All the Stars by Duckie Mack
Love Bank Romance, Book 1
Rider doesn’t have a lot of rules when it comes to guys, but there is one- he doesn’t date, not ever. He’s content with random hookups because dating means too much. That’s reserved for the one person he knows he can never have, his best friend, Cameron.
After watching his own family fall apart, Cam longs for someone who will stick it out through thick and thin. He’s had a string of girlfriends that never seem to be the right one. The one person he can always count on is Rider.
One night out changes everything between them. When Rider ends up telling Cam the secret he’s been hiding, Cam is left reeling. But will an accident end Cam’s chances to figure out what it means for them?
All the Stars is a heartwarming story of friendship, love, and finding the one that was right in front of you all along.
The Love Bank Romance series features sweet LGBTQ love stories with a little heat.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t talk last night. I have another late night at the studio tonight and pretty much all week, so I wanted to swing by and check in. You doing okay?”
“I’m fine, or I will be. I was just throwing myself a pity party with extra confetti.”
“Aw man, I missed it. I like your pity parties. They are top notch.” Rider gave me a half-smile.
“Yeah, well, I was going to invite you, but you had plans. So, tell me about this friend.” I took another big bite of the orgasmic burrito, not even the least bit embarrassed by the moan that broke free.
“It’s like I said, just a friend. He’s the lead singer of the band we’re recording this week. He’s pretty chill.”
“A singer, huh? I could see that. You do love a good karaoke night. Though it seems it’s always me doing the singing. How many times have you liquored me up and put a mic in my hand?” I chuckled. Something strange happened. Rider’s cheeks actually pinked slightly. He was not one to blush typically. He could walk through a crowded club with glowing fingerprints on his crotch and strut like a peacock. But now to see that color rise to the surface, it made him appear almost sheepish, a glimpse at the young kid I remembered, hesitant to trust, to confide. Did that mean something? Did he really have feelings for this guy, this singer? I felt some kind of way about that and I didn’t know what it was.
Rider cleared his throat. “It’s not like that. He’s a client. You know my rule. We just talked. I think you’d like him. He invited me to go to the club they’re playing at next Saturday. You wanna come? The band is actually pretty decent.”
“You sure I wouldn’t be crashing? I don’t know if I’m up to being a third wheel yet. I still have plenty of confetti left for my party.”
Rider rolled his eyes. “Save your confetti. There’s nothing to crash. Besides, you could use a night out, maybe help you get out of that cute head of yours.”
