Calvin’s not looking for an alpha. But if he was, he’d be looking for someone like Wilson.
Calvin isn’t a stereotypical omega. He doesn’t want pups, doesn’t want to be tied down, and for sure, isn’t looking for a mate. He might play the docile omega on screen at Studio C but outside of work he wants to be in charge, and have a little fun. Who better to have fun with than the hot alpha security guard?
When Calvin asks Wilson to his apartment for dinner, he’s expecting a date. What he gets instead is a friends with benefits arrangement that starts off fun but quickly becomes messy when Wilson develops feelings. Can Calvin rethink his stance on relationships? Or will Wilson’s feelings scare Calvin away?
Choosing Me is book three in the Studio C series featuring friends with benefits, a dominant omega, and two internet famous cats. Though this 30k story does NOT contain mpreg, you’ll find silly moments, heated scenes, found family, and of course, a happily ever after.
REVIEW:
These books are getting better and better each book.
Calvin is an Omega Porn Star at Studio C. He plays the docile omega on film but that is a far cry from his true persona outside work. He needs no one to take care of him and definitely not to tell him what to do in his bedroom. His bedroom – his rules! When his flirting leads to what Wilson, the front desk security guard at Studio C, believes is a dinner date Wilson is surprised but willing to go with whatever his crush wants as long as he gets to spend time with him. But can he hold onto his feelings in order to keep Calvin with him?
Wilson sealed it for me. I wanted him to get his man and get his well deserved HEA! It was that simple. He is an honorable man that shielded Calvin from his true feelings even at his own expense. And I loved that he wasn’t set in his ways as Alpha’s can tend to be. He was perfect for Calvin.
Calvin grew on me more and more as the book went on. I loved that he knew what he wanted and smashed the stereotypical Omega persona that he portrays at the studio. I also really liked that he wanted to keep his more dominate nature private. The paying audience saw the performer but Wilson got to see all the real sides of Calvin. I also loved how Calvin was with his nephew and nieces. He knew that he never wanted the white picket fence with pups running around himself but loved his twin brother Connor and his family. And he couldn’t hide his true feelings from Connor and Connor knew it and just what he needed to hear.
I truly enjoyed when Calvin and Wilson went out and just let loose to have fun they way they wanted to have fun not how society dictates. And they were smoking hot in the bedroom during their role reversals.
I thought this was suppose to be a three book series however the author says that we get Christopher and Parker’s story next. I can’t wait to hear Parker’s story! And we still need to know Ben and Ryder’s connection so I believe this series is far from complete.
