REVIEW:
*Soap opera music* And in this episode of….*record scratch*
Three generations of messiness. Three. Generations. Oh. My. GAWD. It’s twenty years later and the drama is STILL strong with this group. The various plot twists and turns are exhausting but in the best of ways.
These characters are scandalous and shameless. The moral compass of more than one of them is less than zero. It seems that the descendants are much worse and are determined to carry on the shenanigans, foolishness and mayhem that their parents participated in prior to their births. But to be fair, it’s more the next generation that seems to be carrying out the majority of the messiness.
I don’t know where to go with this review. I can’t really give let into what I want without giving out any juicy spoilers. And the goings on in this book are JUICY. There’s the usual backstabbing, betrayals, infidelities, and murders. I mean, folks in their spheres are being murked left, right and center…not a DROP of ‘get right’ between the lot of them!
You’d think the passing decades and generations would stem the flow of drama! But no, that is not the case with this messy group. The Mancinis and Ciancio clans seem to revel in nursing these long standing feuds that has carried over to infect their spawn. These two powerful families are so unbelievably messy that I truly think that they cannot exist in a drama free environment.
I really want to unleash my imaginary pack of wild dogs on them. Just gobble them all up. It is so much plotting, scheming lies, and murdering.
And I’m here for ALL of it!
