Giles Martin is tired of feeling like he’s not real. He might be a successful author, but he hasn’t had the best track record with love. After all, his ex, who is also his agent, is the one who arranges his fantasy weekend with a Daddy at the AirB&D. How pathetic is that? And worse, he needs a man equipped to handle his issues and his Daddy turns out to be younger. Much younger.
Lake Lewis knows he’s younger than his fantasy boy expected him to be, but he knows what he wants, and he thinks his weekend with Giles is going to be epic. He’s not exactly sure how to unpack all of Giles’s baggage, but he’s confident he can help his boy feel real. In fact, Lake comes to feel like Giles might be the one person in his life who actually needs him.
How will Lake convince Giles that age is just a number, and that the matchmaker never makes a mistake?
REVIEW:
Time for a visit back to “Maine’s version of a kinky Fantasy Island.”
Giles is 35 and a successful published author. He is also in desperate need of rest and a weekend away with a “daddy”. His fantasy is about to come true at Air B&D. But when 25 year-old Lake shows up as his Daddy he figures Grady was either crazy or there was a major mix-up. How can this kid, that looks like he belongs in a frat house, possibly the man that can help him and meet his needs?
I did like this story more than book 5. I know all too well about night terrors and how hard they are on you. Going back to sleep is next to impossible when I’m having the really bad ones. And Lake and Giles/Jack seemed real to me. I’m not sure how Lake is so rich but I guess that wasn’t necessary to know. Possibly trust fund baby?
This was a much sweeter story with only a hand-only spanking scene. It was appropriate to the story. Giles and Lake clicked and I was happy that they were able to overcome the reverse age-gap problem.
As with all the other stories, the ending of Giles and Lake was rather abrupt. These weekends are only meant to be a brief glimpse into the start of their romance and lives.
I also my curiosity with Grady and Cameron was finally satisfied. I loved their little side story/romance.
This appeared to be the final story at Air B&D. End was printed at the end of the story, which had never appeared before. My only complaint, if that is what you would call it, was that I just get invested in these men’s stories and BAM their done.
