Welcome to the AirB&D! We hope you enjoy your stay.
James Lawrey is a CEO with plenty of cred in corporate circles and plenty of cash to go with it. Privately, though, he’s learned the hard way that it might be impossible to find the one thing he can’t buy–a young man to look after who wants and needs a real Daddy, not just a sugar daddy.
Textile artist Rye Henry’s last relationship went up in flames when his ex told him it was time to grow up. Rye’s got a lucrative business of his own, so he needs a lover who isn’t going to try to change him, a Daddy who wants his true devotion.
Both men drop a pretty penny to experience a few days at the AirB&D, a swanky vacation home in Maine, for a fantasy that’s exactly what they’re looking for. Even if it only lasts one weekend.
But could they get more than their money’s worth?
Of course. Just leave it to the matchmaker.
REVIEW:
Short, fun daddy/boy story set in a beautiful house set on the East Coast shores.
James and Rye have spent a pretty penny each to go meet the other at the spectacular Air B&D for a weekend of fantasy. They both believe that what they truly want/need in a mate has to be a fantasy because it’s been so unobtainable in their lives. But, with the itchy matchmaker involved, is it fantasy or can dreams really come true?
I enjoyed this short novella. This is one weekend at a place, the Air B&D, where Grady “The Itchy Matchmaker” and his assistant Cameron do their best to make your dreams a reality. I’m looking forward to more of their matches.
This book is very fast paced. Both men seemed to be able to let their minds shut off to the real world and indulged themselves in the fantasy immediately. I really liked both men. Although it’s a really short story (only 70 pages) you get to know the CEO James from Boston and the young Textile Artist Rye from New Mexico. They instantly “clicked” from the moment they met. An opposites attract with a Daddy kink. I felt that Rye had been shamed for his needs in his last relationship for not “growing up”. James filled that position perfectly with his strong daddy personality, his need to nurture and care was strong. I did like that it wasn’t all one-sided. Both men were successful business men that had their own wealth. Rye’s cooking ability let him care for James in a way that allowed him to feel useful too. Not just a needy boy. I think that was important for him after his last relationship.
If you are looking for a Daddy/boy book that is a long, drawn out adventure then this isn’t your book. But if you are looking for a quick read (it was under an hour for me) that leaves you smiling then this fits the bill.
