Not long ago I stumbled on a free book offer for A Forbidden Rumspringa by Keira Andrews on Amazon. Checking to ensure it was still free, I was disappointed to see that it wasn’t free anymore. However, I was pleased to discover that she did have this sexy short tale of seduction on offer.
Stephen Lewis, Tax Accountant and Tall Pale and Handsome (Xavier Dumont ) meet at the DMV but are immediately interrupted when one is called up to renew his driver’s license. Rapid service at the DMV? Not sure if that was irony or just a lapse in credibility.
Though parted, the two do arrange to have a date at a Tapas restaurant. Tapas, like this free sample, aren’t meant to fill you up, but just to allow you to try something savory. What follows is a brief encounter which could easily lead to a whole novel or series but hasn’t so far.
As with so much M/M fiction in these post apocalyptic times, the question of condoms comes up but is quickly dealt with. After all… is it any use thinking about safer sex AFTER being bitten by a vampire?
Given that it’s free, this one is worth twice the price… and it’s certainly worth your time. But remember… when dealing with vampires, one risks awakening a thirst that is impossible to quench.
