Tasier, Book One
JOON thinks he has his life figured out. He has a fellowship at a prestigious university. He’s made peace with the fact that he’d never feel love or attraction to another person. He is mostly content with his orderly life, despite the occasional pang of loneliness.
Until one day, a chance encounter at a cafe turns his life sideways.
Before he knows it, Joon gets caught up in a secret organization of individuals with special abilities. He discovers that his hitherto unknown and mysterious biological parents were time travelers. But most surprising of all, he finds a man he hadn’t known he’d been dreaming about.
TREY has been in love with Joon all his life. Joon is his best friend, his soulmate, his everything. His life is complete; with childhood full of adventures, a membership in a secret organization, sometimes annoying but fabulous special abilities, and of course the love of his life.
Except there is just a small problem.
He’s only met the love of his life through their shared dreams and his soulmate didn’t remember him.
As they meet for the first time outside their dreams, their love for each other grows, but so does the darkness that casts a shadow over them. Together they discover hidden threats against Joon and the secret organization they belong to that can tear their love apart. Will Joon and Trey find strength within and with each other to fight against the darkness?
This is Part I of the series set in the universe of a secret organization named Tasier.
Part I’s adventure belongs to Joon and Trey.

With a few locks of hair fallen across his forehead and long eyelashes slowly fanning his cheeks, sleepy J was so adorable. Actually, he was always adorable, whatever he was doing. Trey gave in to his urge and brushed J’s hair back into place, then kissed his temple. A gentle warmth suffused Trey’s heart as J leaned into him. ‘You’re, like, totally awake. How are you looking so fresh in the morning? It’s barely nine a.m. in Seattle.’ J’s eyes narrowed at him. ‘Immune to jet lag.’ Trey winked. ‘That’s very annoying,’ J grumbled. ‘You’re extremely cute.’ Trey gave him another peck on his forehead. “I’m not cute.” J blushed slightly but still managed a frown. Trey cupped J’s face with his hands, giving him a serious look. “You’re very cute and precious to me.” He kissed J softly several times. “You’re just biased,” J said, but Trey saw a slight grin hovering over his lips. “I don’t think so. It’s good that we met in our dreams when we were young and grew close before anyone else got to know you. If I’d met you when you were grown up, I’d have had to fight off the competition.” “Is that why I didn’t have a single boyfriend?” J’s eyes lowered, and his shoulders sagged. His face held only confusion. J really didn’t know how cute he was. His unassuming nature warmed Trey, but it also made him kind of sad. Trey wanted J to know how wonderful he was in every way. Having heard J’s stories about his adopted parents during their dreamwalks, Trey understood why he might not think much of himself. His parents had been hard on him. They’d always given him the impression that he wasn’t good enough. Trey had tried to negate that as much as he could, but dreams only went so far. He could be persistent, though. It might take a while to make J believe in himself, but Trey would keep trying. “I have a feeling that you’ve been giving off a vibe that told people you weren’t interested. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you knew you already had a soulmate. Lucky for me.” J lifted his eyes to Trey. His expression showed that he didn’t completely believe in Trey’s words, but his face had brightened regardless. Trey pulled him into a sweet kiss, his fingers sinking into J’s soft hair. With the meeting of their lips, the warm energy current between them vibrated into a higher gear. J’s hand cupped his face, pulling him closer. Whenever they touched, time slowed and came to a complete stop. The world around them no longer existed.

About the Author:
Arian lives in the nostalgic rainy city of Seattle in the Pacific Northwest of the US with her loving husband, five adorable stuffed penguins, all with their own proper names, and one imaginary Maine Coon cat.
She began writing romance novels in high school primarily to entertain her romance reading buddies, but it soon became her hobby and passion. She’s just never been confident enough until later in her life to put herself out there.
She loves to live in her own head and vicariously experience the lives of her characters. How else would she be able to live half a dozen lives at once?
She’s grateful for her caring husband who’s been nothing but encouraging despite her spending hours inside her head and her imaginary furry friends who mostly don’t throw tantrums when she happens to be buried in her writing.
