PHENOMENAL way to start a series! Author Beth Bolden, held nothing back with the extraordinary character’s of Lucas and Tony! Their chemistry was off the charts! Their storyline had me captivated from beginning to the end!
Tony’s character was strong, firm yet endearing and the type that never wanted to see the bad in the people that he saw as friends. He was a hard worker and strive to be the best at whatever he set out to accomplish.
Lucas on the other hand was more carefree, still a very hard worker. Being a vegan he brought forth ideas that helped when he was paired up with Tony on the food Truck. Although , they were different personality wise, it was apparently clear they fit well both on the truck as well as off.
I loved how the story took on some twist and turns when trouble came upon the truck and two tried to play detectives. From amateur shakeout’s, to amazing new recipes being prepared together, late night talks, to amazing chemistry behind closed doors.
This is one book that is a MUST read! I was hooked from start to finish! I can’t wait to see what is next in this amazing series!!!
