Charlie taught me I deserved to be loved. Will I be brave enough to claim him as mine?
Temporarily separated while he’s on tour, my love for him grows. He is my future—or he will be, once we’ve made our relationship public.
Charlie has been patient—probably too patient—while I’ve been struggling to get over my fear that history will repeat itself. An unforgiving media destroyed my career, I don’t want the same thing to happen to the man I love.
Telling the world is one of many obstacles we have to navigate. The only thing I’m sure of is that we’ll find our way together.
Unashamedly Us is the forth book in Offbeat Shifters, an m/m paranormal romance series with a continuing storyline. The series is best read in order, however Charlie and Austin’s story begins in book 3, Unapologetically Me. This book includes a monkey shifter who has to face his fears, an arctic fox shifter who will always stand up for himself, extended families, steadfast friends, lots of children, and a HEA ending for the main characters. There are pregnancy and birth scenes in this book.
REVIEW:
Charlie will be on tour for the next three months. Austin will stay behind, he doesn’t want Charlie to get in trouble with Austin on his side, an older man. Jesse still doesn’t know about them. They have such a hard time saying goodbye.
Charlie on tour and Austin home isn’t ideal. They try to make time together on the phone or video call. Sometimes it’s emotional and sometimes it’s steamy, one thing is sure, it hurts to be apart.
Austin loves the time with Jesse, Isaac, and their twins. They have precious moments!
Charlie and Austin are making plans for the future. They know what they want. It hurts when there are family members around who don’t agree. They have to fight for their happiness, together they can overcome everything.
What a wonderful fulfilling story, I was so happy for Charlie and Austin.
Two beautiful flawed men, aware of their limitations and going strong together!
I loved them so hard. Dear Austin, present from the first book, I needed time to appreciate him and get to know the real man behind his attitude. But in the end, you can only love him hard.
Charlie escaped his suffocating home to be happy and do the thing he’s good at, and what made him happy, making music.
I was so content with their happy ending. They deserved it so much, they got EVERYTHING they ever wanted.
This author wrote a beautiful series. Widely developed, with highs and lows, thrilling and angsty moments, deeply emotional at times, steamy, funny, respectful, uplifting, engaging, entertaining.
The characters became family. I will miss them. I hate goodbyes. So maybe till next time.
