Casey is not the little boy his brother Trask still seems to think he is. He’s old enough to know that the crush he’s had on his brother’s best friend Rylan has turned into a full on obsession…and maybe more. And the best part? It seems like maybe…just maybe, Rylan has finally started to notice him back.
Rylan is a little (a lot) thrown when Casey arrives, all grown up and gorgeous. The kid has always been sweet and adorable, but now? He’s not so much of a kid. And maybe the life he’s been living with his best friend is starting to lose it’s appeal, even before Casey showed up. Rylan knows he should stay away from Casey, but he’s not sure he’s going to be able to resist the beautiful young man.
This book is really cute. That’s the first thing that popped into my mind. Casey and Rylan trying so hard to do the right thing because they both love Trask is very sweet but I’ll be honest, I kinda wanted to smack Trask up the back of the head. He acts like a asshole a lot but it’s forgivable because he really does have his little brother’s best interest at heart.
It’s fun to watch as Casey and Rylan dance around each other, each assuming that the other isn’t interested. But they really are and once they admit it, KC Wells turns up the heat as only they can! Cue the sexy, sweet, so very hot sex that leaves you smiling for so many reasons.
This is not a high angst book and if you need a lot of angst to make you happy, this isn’t the book for you.
However, if you like something fun and sweet with a little (a lot) of steam, you will definitely enjoy this book. KC Wells has a way of making you love her characters and these guys are no exception. Even Trask will worm his way into your heart…when he stops being an ass!
