Love Practice by A.F. Zoelle
A Good Bad Idea Story, Book 7
Wren is kinda sorta super in love with his best friend. Asking Izzy to go on practice dates as his dating tutor probably isn’t the best idea to keep those feelings hidden. But a bad idea has never stopped Wren before.
Wren Ferres
Does anyone know how to make Prince Charming fall in love with you? I’m asking for a friend.
…yeah, that friend is me. I’m secretly a little in love with my best friend and roommate. Okay, I’m a lot in love with him. Like, truly, madly, deeply in love with him. But it’s not my fault! He’s hot, French, and laughs at all my stupid jokes. He’s the prince of my dreams, minus the part where he isn’t actual royalty and not in love with me. Determined to change that, I come up with a brilliant plan to challenge Monsieur Know-it-all to be my dating tutor. I’m hoping that’ll tempt him into acting on our flirtatious banter.
If it doesn’t, maybe I’ll push my luck by suggesting some kissing practice?
Isidore “Izzy” Devereaux
Wren is flirty, quirky, très cute—and completely oblivious about how much I love him. His wild ideas usually make me laugh, but his request to go on practice dates to give him pointers? Yeah, that pushes all my buttons. Agreeing to his outlandish request means risking him discovering my secret. But, it also presents a tempting opportunity. This is my one chance to make him see me as more than just his best friend. It could be my only shot at making him my boyfriend for real.
I may not be a real prince like he teases me about, but can’t we still have a happily ever after?
Love Practice is the seventh and final book in the Good Bad Idea series and part of the Sunnyside universe. This novel features a friends to lovers, roommates, fake dating romance. Full of cute sweetness and sexy fun, every story ends with a satisfying HEA and no cliffhangers. Each book can be read as a standalone or as part of the series in order.

Chapter 2: Izzy Devereaux
A guy with electric-blue hair caught my attention as I walked back to my dorm. He wore a shirt decorated with a skull and crossbones that had hearts for eyes and a pink crown that said “Pastel Goth Princess” paired with lavender pants. His sharp cheekbones, full lips, and boyish features stood out as particularly beautiful. When we made eye contact, a spark ignited within me that turned into a roaring blaze. It startled me when he stumbled right into my path.
I caught him on instinct. As long as I lived, I’d never forget the awed way he whispered, “Wow.”
For some reason, it was impossible to release him. I kept my arm around his waist as I held his smaller body against mine in a loose embrace. It was hard to find my voice to ask, “Are you okay?”
His radiant smile did things to my heart I didn’t understand. “Better than okay. I’m the second luckiest man in the world.”
“The second luckiest man? Who’s the first?”
“You.”
I arched an eyebrow at him. “Why do you say that?”
He wrapped his arms around me in a hug as he grinned up at me. “Because you just met me.”
It was so absurd I had to laugh. “Is that so?”
“Yep. According to the rules of romance, we’re destined to fall in love thanks to this meet-cute. That makes you the luckiest man in the universe because I’m fucking awesome.”
“You’re certainly something.” There was something magical about him, which was the only way to explain why I was fine hugging a total stranger.
“I’m your new best friend and future husband.”
When he used a pickup line like that, it amazed me he appeared charming and not obnoxious. “You say that with a shocking amount of confidence considering you don’t know my name yet.”
“I bet it’s something sexy I’m going to love to moan.”
It was hard not to laugh. “Are you always this way?”
“Yep, so you better get used to it.” His cheeky smirk made him even cuter somehow. “Now, tell me what name I get to call out as you pleasure me.”
“Isidore Devereaux.”
The way he gasped my first name like I was moving inside him was seared into my mind forever. It filled me with a burning need to take him up on his offer. “Ooh, I love it. I’m definitely getting the better end of the deal with names, though.”
“Why?”
“Because Wren isn’t sexy at all,” he said with an adorable pout. “I mean, it’s better than Alfred, but it won’t rank on the Top 100 list of the sexiest names to cry out during sex.”
His playfulness brought out the shameless flirt in me. I caressed under his chin as I tipped his head back for a better glimpse at him. His long eyelashes and thin eyebrows were so blond they were almost white, giving him an ethereal appearance. “Non, I disagree.” To prove my point, I moaned his name in a sensuous rumble.
The lust burning bright in his eyes thrilled me. “Well, that settles it.”
“Settles what?”
“You’re stuck with me now,” he declared. “Let’s grab dinner and get to know each other better.”
What else could I say other than “Oui” to an offer from such an enthralling person?

Maybe if I show him what an awesome fake boyfriend I am, he’ll want me to be his real one?
August “Augie” Murphy
Secretly being in love with your straight friend sucks. Secretly being in love with your straight friend who won’t quit flirting with you really sucks. The only relationships I used to be interested in were meaningless hookups with no strings attached. But Callum’s kindness touched a part of my heart I didn’t know existed, changing me forever. Ohhhh, it’s because our arrangement makes me fall in love with him for real. Oops?
Jules Tourneau
I’ve ignored my feelings for Xander so many years that I’m convinced I only love him as a friend. It’s totally a coincidence that thinking of him with his awful ex-boyfriend makes me burn with raging hellfire, right? When we’re fake dating, I’m obviously going to have fun teasing him with obnoxiously cutesy nicknames, like calling him my pookie—crap, I’m actually in love with Xander, aren’t I?

We’re nothing alike, but for the first time since my mom passed away, life is finally fun again thanks to him.
Even though we just met, it would be stupid to run away from love when all signs point to him being the one, right?
North Easton
I’ve always been a lust at first sight kind of a guy, but Elias makes me rethink everything I know about love. It seems like our romance was written in the stars, especially since his horoscope predicted I would become the greatest love of his life.
