When Dustin stumbles into Casersis and touches his magic amulet, Dustin’s hint of elven blood starts a magical chain reaction that puts him in mortal danger. The amulet’s power begins to rewrite his DNA from human to elf, and if humanity finds out, he’ll become a science experiment at best. But when Casersis senses the change, his first instinct is to hold Dustin captive.
Casersis wants his young alpha to be safe and loved while he undergoes his magical change. Exiled from his home and throne by his son, and now a billionaire corporation owner, when Casersis issues commands, his people fall in line. But Dustin is so independent that Casersis doesn’t know how to hold onto him without suffocating his new lover.
Can Casersis keep Dustin safe by holding him against his will? Or will the threat of captivity erase the bond of trust they had just begun to form?
This 73,000-word non-shifter omegaverse novel is set in a world where mpreg (male pregnancy) is a fact of life. However, this series does not end with a baby or pregnancy.
REVIEW:
Dustin is a twenty years old construction worker, his life changes instantly when he collides with Casersis.
Casersis is an elven king, banned to the earth realm, he’s a powerful, beautiful man with long black hair.
Colliding with him has consequences, Dustin blacked out. .
“I will earn the right to shower you with whatever I like if you will but let me.” .
Even though Casersis is wealthier and more powerful, Dustin is the one who comforts the omega, just like a good Alpha should.
But Casersis has a secret to reveal and he’s so afraid his alpha will leave him.
Dustin is shocked to know he’s changing, shocked Casersis wants to keep him indoors, shocked about their feelings.
Dustin is independent since he was sixteen, he can’t be kept by Casersis.
Casersis is afraid Dustin will get hurt when humans understand their secret.
Slowly turning into an elf is frightening but has advantages, Dustin experience more, he has a deeper connection to nature and he even can see the passage between Earth and Adradis, Casersis’ homeworld.
Casersis has an enemy, Erastus, who envies him on every level. He wants what Casersis has.
Dustin is getting crazy locked up in Casersis’ house, he has to get out, and so he does.
This was an entertainingly written story with a good concept and attractive scenery, all nicely developed. I loved both mc’s and their dynamic, I really love the elven world. .
At first, I didn’t know what to expect, is it a dark story, serious business or is it funny.
I got the picture after some pages. The further in the story the more I loved it.
There is still so much to discover, I hope to visit the Elven Realm, maybe meet Casersis’ family.
I’m curious to know Dustin’s power and how their love will go.
Looking forward to the next installment.
