Two weeks into the school year, I had not only grown used to showering with my PE classmates, I actually looked forward to it. I found the sight of naked boys fascinating, though I couldn’t yet articulate why. A few more weeks went by before I sort of figured things out. I lay in my darkened bedroom, staring at the ceiling and thinking about Robert Buchholz, a guy in my PE class whose gym locker was located near mine.
That afternoon, we had all been required to perform as many pullups as we could using a bar bolted to the gymnasium wall. (I managed to do four.) When Robert’s turn came, he sauntered to the bar, peeled off his T-shirt, and proceeded to do twenty-one pullups, far more than anyone else managed to complete. Robert’s body was sinewy, more like a ninth grader’s, and while he performed on the bar, the muscles in his back, arms, and shoulders flexed. Glow from the gym’s ceiling lights reflected in his shaggy yellow hair, and also in a film of sweat he worked up from his efforts.
Right away, I felt a tingle in my jock strap while I kept my gaze fixed on Robert. Honestly, I thought he was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen, and toward the end of class, in the gang showers, I kept stealing glances at him while he soaped his limbs in the steamy air. I tried to memorize every part of his body so I could put the visions to use that evening.
Hours later, while I lay in my bed, a vision of Robert in the locker room shower crept into my head and I stiffened between my legs. I let my hand steal into the pouch of my briefs, and in less than a minute, I unloaded. My chest heaved and sweat beaded on my upper lip while my thoughts spun.
Why does Robert Buchholz’s body excite me so? And do other boys in my PE class admire Robert like I do?
