Teammates kiss, right?
Yanked from duty, Zed is furious to have been benched and exiled to the sticks. The newly-promoted director of the Omega Assassins Club, Remington, is only trying to make it easier for him to push aside the way he feels for Zed. Remington operates as if he believes ignoring his feelings will make them go away. The more Remington ignores him, the more Zed acts out, willing to do anything to get his director’s attention.
Sent to work at the Lazy Bend Ranch for Powerful Omegas, Zed lands squarely in the lap of Peppa, a young single father and ranch mentor reeling from a deception that had turned his life upside down. The two omegas form a fast bond that leaps from friendly to confusing at record speed. Zed is used to supporting his team. The things he wants to do with Peppa don’t have to be so confusing. Teammates hugged! But Zed doesn’t want to stop at hugging.
When Taft—the now ex-OAC director—attacks with a new threat, Remington rushes to the ranch and everything changes. For years, Zed feared he’d never see Remington look at him with passion but when the director returns, he watches Zed and Peppa with eyes that burn. With Peppa, Zed is happier than he’s ever been. The two omegas are different in almost every way possible but share one important quality. Both of their bodies light up when Remington is in the room. Can three men, all with baggage of their own, find their happily ever after?
Redemption is the fifth and final book in the Omega Assassins Club series. Redemption is an omegaverse romance that contains mentions of violence as well as topics that may arise in an a/b/o world where power is not distributed evenly. A swoon-worthy HEA is guaranteed!
REVIEW:
Well, this was definitely a good and final ending to this series. I was hoping things would turn out how they did for a certain individual and it made me happy to see it got him in the end. But I was also happy to see Zed finally find peace and for sweet little Peppa to finally find what he needed after what he went through. The process wasn’t easy by any means, but in the end, it was worth everything.
I loved Peppa from the beginning. He just has this air of innocence and love about him that you can’t help but be drawn to. Even when people hurt him or act bad, it may upset him, but he does his best to stay positive. And it became how obvious everyone looked to him and up to him, when he was the one that could calm Zed’s fiery temper with a touch of a hand. To calm the change that came over Remington and the glue to hold the three of them together. It helped defuse more than one situation on many occasions and the irony was, Peppa doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. He’s just being himself. And I love it. I adore him. I love his character so much.
Doesn’t mean I don’t love Zed or Remington. They are fierce and protective of Peppa in ways that are amazing because they see the true value of what Peppa is and try not to treat him like glass. But they also know what a treasure they have in him and have to be on guard for him at all times. They can’t help being who they are. I think they are all good for each other.
They brought out so much in each other that they never really had before. And each fit together like a perfect piece of a puzzle. Each bringing their own talents and specialities in to make it perfect for them. It wasn’t always perfect, but it worked for them and that’s what mattered.
It was a great series and a great ending. I loved it so much.
