Who will claim the crown of America’s Next Top Stripper? After retiring from the stage, ex-male stripper Matt lands an amazing opportunity to host the new show America’s Next Top Stripper. Judging alongside a supermodel, an internationally famed stripper, and a drag queen, the panel more than has its work cut out for them when ten gorgeous, diverse, and sexy men show up at the show’s mansion. Matt must resist a crush on the resident bad boy Ace to remain impartial as the head judge.
Through lust, greed, and camaraderie, these ten men must compete to be the best. Show after show, these men deliver sultry and sexy performances, and one is eliminated each week. Finally arriving at the Top 5, things take a dark turn, and secrets long buried surface.
In the world of America’s Next Top Stripper, who will win and who will survive?
REVIEW:
I have to say I had a hard time with this one. I love Matt’s book, because I love the horror aspect, the mystery and I love Hitchcock myself. But this was not what I expected at all. It actually didn’t seem like a thriller at all until the very end, then you have a short burst of action that happens and it’s over. And I felt disappointed.
It’s a thing, like America’s Next Top Model, only for strippers. Twelve men compete, only one will come out on top. The ones that are eliminated aren’t happy about it but have learned things they can hopefully take with them. Until the last five. That quickly becomes four and something is very wrong. And they have to catch who’s making people disappear and quick.
I liked the characters over all. I can appreciate the character Matt because I have a feeling it was somewhat a self story to a point. I liked most of the contestants. And I knew something was off with one from the get go. I just hated that we had to get to the very end of the book to get to the good stuff. Yeah, it’s mostly stripping throughout the book, but the gross stuff comes at the end and then they have to catch the guy. It was just over way too quick for me. I needed more of that thrill from Matt that I usually get. It’s not that it’s a bad book. Please don’t misunderstand me. But it’s not what I wanted. But I hope you all enjoy it!
