Release Blitz, Exclusive Excerpt & Giveaway: Crossed Hearts by J.R. Gray
Arrowood, Book 3
Small towns thrive on gossip, and as the owner of the local bar I consider myself keeper of those secrets. The bar is like a confessional, a place to unload. My sanctuary where my secrets stay hidden and the focus is never on me.
I keep my world orderly. None of the bad touching the good. Little dividers allow me to live with myself, which isn’t easy in Arrowood.
It worked until my one lapse in judgement showed up to bite me in the ass.
My best friend’s arrogant, moody, and persistent little brother who just won’t take no for an answer. I’ve never wanted and hated someone so much in my life. He’s determined to pull my secrets out of me—I’m determined to resist him.

Adam grabbed my wrist, hard, crushing it until he got a yelp of pain out of me. “We can’t do this.”
“That’s not what your cock is saying, beautiful.” I glanced between us.
“My cock doesn’t speak for me,” he met my tongue, clashing in an orgasmic way.
“What a shame. Because I bet you’d be fantastic in my mouth.” I licked my lips, showing him just how long my tongue was. I might be shit at relationships and pushing buttons but I was good in bed.
Adam groaned into my mouth, eyes pressing closed. “Shut up.”
“I can be real quiet,” I whispered.
“Fuck,” he panted between kisses.
“You don’t want me to tell you how I’ve been thinking about getting on my knees for you all day, letting you fuck the back of my throat?”
His grip tightened on my wrist which meant it was working. “No.”
“Should I tell you how I want to ride that big dick of yours? Or just shut up and show you?”
“No.” His objection was less convincing.
“I bet I could make you come so fast.” It wasn’t my normal to press, but he kept touching me, and kissing me back.
“Sage.” He said my name, all long and drawn out, and our mouths clashed and kissing him felt better than sex with anyone I’d ever fucked.
I felt it to my dick. “Yes, lovely boy?”
“I’m not doing this.”
“What are we doing?” I dared to press my lips to his again.
“Any of it.”
“Are you scared?” I whispered over his mouth. “You’ll feel better after an orgasm.”
“Sage,” Adam panted.
If my name was this good kissing I bet it would be even better with him inside me.
“Every time you tell me no, you say my name and it’s like the dick whisperer.” I pressed my groin into his hips. “See what you do to me?”
“Sage.” He drew out each letter this time, letting me taste them.
I started to walk him backward, wanting to get the door closed and him out of those clothes, grabbing his neatly tucked-in shirt to tug out of his jeans.
He grabbed my other wrist, shoving them between us so I couldn’t keep rubbing my cock against his hip.
