If so, who was she to deny her Little Love help in her moment of need.
REVIEW:
When I realized there was a fluffy lesbian romance out there that included age play and a mommy/girl dynamic, you bet I was on board to read it! It’s a popular kink trope in a lot of M/M and F/M romances, but it is still pretty rare in the lesfic world. This is a sweet, hot, and totally fun little story that will be a treat for both hardcore mommy kink fans out there and nervous newbies to the subgenre alike.
Though the blurb focuses more on Lindy, the Mommy and domme of the story, it is a dual-MC book with half of it through the point of view of Katy, the Little and sub. Katy is a content barista who is just waiting for something exciting to happen and sweep her off her feet. When she is stood up on a date, she angrily knocks down the door of her would-be suitor, only to find she has the wrong address.
She is greeted by Lindy, a successful, no-nonsense PR specialist who is immediately enticed by this adorable girl and her spitfire attitude. While Katy has only dated men in the past, there is a sizzling connection between the two women, and Lindy patiently courts Katy as they get to know one another. But Lindy has very unique tastes that she’s not willing to compromise—when she’s in a relationship, she wants a mommy/girl dynamic with her partner. She wants to be the loving, doting caretaker of a little girl who just wants a mommy’s love. Lindy knows Katy is new to all of this, so she stays patient, but she hopes her little love can learn to share the same tastes.
All of the dynamics in this story work really well. There is no coercion or pushing on Lindy’s part to make Katy into a Little. Everything is on Katy’s terms and only done if she 100% wants it. Katy is a fun character who knows exactly who she is and what she wants (and she’s a full-figured heroine, which always makes me happy), even if she is new to a situation, so seeing her get comfortable both being with a woman and being a Little is so enjoyable. And who wouldn’t want Lindy as their mommy domme? She’s confident, sexy, and focused completely on her little’s pleasure. It isn’t hard to fall for her!
While the BDSM and erotica in this story is scorching, the actual age regression and mommy kink are kept pretty tame. There is no diapering in this story, since Katy regresses to toddler age instead of infant, so it might be a good jumping-off point to those new to this kink or genre. Katy finds comfort and deep subspace in activities like mock breastfeeding, bathing, dressing up in little girl clothes, and napping. When she and Lindy start to transition to lovers rather than mommy and girl in their play, there is little overlap, making it so the boundaries between their roles are fairly clear. This is a personal preference of mine in mommy/little stories, so I really enjoyed that aspect. There is also a super fun scene at a “toy store” near the end that explores all the enriching non-sexual aspects of age play that we don’t often see in fiction.
This story might progress a little quickly for some, especially those new to the kink, though I do think things happen organically for the characters. And it is a fairly short story with no real drama. Since the characters are so good and likeable, I wanted a little bit more meat to the plot. But you can’t complain about a happy ending, and this book has just that. It’s a sexy, fun read that definitely will give you something new and fresh.
