EXCERPT from ROMAN (Tags of Honor, book 5#)  

Roman barely waited for Luc’s boss to leave the kitchen before he was out of his seat and crowding him up against the sink. “You left before I was awake.”

“Yeah,” Fuck yes, he had left before Rome woke up. When he’d woken up wrapped around him, he’d wanted to stay there forever. And that was the reason he’d gotten his ass out of the bed as fast as he could without waking him.

“Why?” Roman ran his nose up the side of his neck and whispered the word in his ear.

Damn it, he couldn’t think straight when he did this. “One night of fucking doesn’t fix shit.”

“It’s a damn good start.”

Oh, fabulous, he was growling. “No, it doesn’t,” Luc moved forward, using his own bulk to force Roman to take a step back. “You gonna tell me why you left and didn’t come back?”

“Does it matter after all these years?”

“Yeah, it does, asshole. Your magic dick doesn’t erase the past.” He started rinsing plates and putting them in the dishwasher.

“Ouch.” Roman blew out a breath, “I deserved that.”

“Yup, you do.”

First and foremost I am a reader who had stories in my head that were driving me crazy. When I mentioned it to an author friend of mine, she told me to “write them down,” and what do you know, Jonah’s Compass was born, during NaNo 2017, and published in April 2018. Book number two Tied Up In Steele released as a #1 Amazon Best Seller and #1 Amazon new release. Book 3 Malik’s Redemption followed hotly on its heels also releasing as a #1 Bestseller and #1 New Release. As was Micah’s Promise. Three orange flags in just four books??? WTH this was a just write it down or go insane thing, right? I am humbled that people like my stories and that they love the antics provided by the voices in my head and it just completely blows my mind that people enjoy reading these stories as much as I enjoy writing them. I live with a crazy pack of 7 dogs, my daughter, who is turning out to be so like me, I don’t know if I should be scared or proud and the rest of my crazy family. Along with my love of dogs and books, I’m a graphics nerd who also enjoys hiking and dog-shows.
