REVIEW:
This was one funny as heck story. If you’ve read the first two, you will know a lot of what is going on. If you haven’t, you need to stop and read those before this one. Although there’s not a lot going on as it’s a family vacation, there are still some things occurring that will leave you a bit lost if you don’t know what to look for. And why things are done and said a certain way. There’s also a surprise twist at the end of this that definitely kind of makes it a cliffhanger. So, I’m ready for the next installment of this series to see how it plays out.
Connor has, I think, been my favorite of all of them. Every character in these stories has their own special brand of personality that just makes these books so much better, but there is something about Connor that just keeps you on your toes. He is sassy, snarky and you never know what to expect of him to do or say. And I can’t give it away but there are some scenes in this story that are going to have you laughing so hard, you will probably be crying. I was anyway. That boy.
I love how this story is progressing for everyone as well. They’ve all been through some stuff in their lives and they are growing and maturing every day. Even in their silliness. It’s been an adventure to see how they have grown and how they are seeing things in different lights. I think that’s part of why I love Connor so much. Because even with all that’s going on in their lives and how they are growing and evolving, Connor still looks at everything with such childlike innocence. And I love it.
I really can’t wait to see how this is going to go next with how this ended. There’s going to be some major surprises on a few levels if things are found out. And I’m ready to see how it goes. It’s a good series and I love it.
