A Christmas feel-good tale of snowy, cobbled streets, unfulfilled desires and the sexiest whippet in Yorkshire!
When bubbly Sean Miles applies for a job with a film company, little does he realise what he’s getting into. As an experienced dog groomer, he’s great with fur and claws and loves a poochie cuddle, but has never offered human treatments. Until now.
Heath Mailer is playing the character of Heathcliff. Dark, brooding and intense, the lead actor can scowl aplenty but when he’s in trouble he doesn’t know how to ask for help. Who’s going to offer a hand to Mister Moody?
Forced to work together, Sean and Heath discover some unusual techniques that not only aid the production but also get to the heart of what ails the lead actor. Whoever said dog therapy can’t work on people?
REVIEW:
Oh my freaking goodness, this is such an adorable warm-hearted feel-good story.
At times my face hurt from smiling and giggling, at times I had to swallow and blink something away. Overall it’s a sweet lighthearted story, there are tiny little glimpses of ugliness life can throw, but it’s more about fun, kindness and improvisation ability of sweet caring people.
Like the storm Ellis, this story was a fresh cleaning wind that blows away all the ugliness of RL.
Sean is broke and needs a job, without even understanding how, he ends up as the film assistant of actor Heath Mailer on the film set of Wuthering Heights. Managing dogs or people can’t be that different, right?
Heath, somewhat depressed and misunderstood, is mesmerized by the sweet Sean who seems to be the answer to all his problems.
This narrative has delightful lighthearted humor, I laughed out loud. It has a sweet romance with some naughty edges and made me fall in love with both men. The honesty and openness were refreshing. The whole film set was a pretty nice environment even more at Christmas.
All the similarities, read and find out yourself, were smart and hilariously real.
It’s about finding solutions instead of looking for obstacles and discovering yourself and enjoy the sexy deliciousness life can give.
So much joy in only 60 pages, I adored this story!
