Book blurb:
Success was lonely.
I would have killed for the ability to use a hookup app or go out to a bar and meet someone but my life wasn’t my own. I belonged to the fans and the media. I should have been on top of the world but I was suffocated by fame.
I’d almost resigned myself to virginity forever and the impossibility of finding a relationship, until I met the most beautiful man I’d ever laid eyes on and hope sparked again, but in a cruel twist of fate, he was the only person forbidden to me: My director.
Twenty years older, and seemingly interested too, now I had four months to work with him while trying to keep my hands to myself or one of us would lose our job.
The temptation was going to kill me.
Unwritten is a slow burn, May-December with low angst and a dog that’s in charge. This book can be read as a standalone.

“Have you ever been told you are quite persuasive, Mr. West?” I asked, throwing his last name right back at him.
“I’ve been told it’s the dimples.” He smiled and pointed at them.
I pressed my eyes closed, the heat in my chest not going anywhere.
“I’m going to take that as a yes.”
I refused to look at him. Taking another drink of the vodka instead. Seemed easier.
“Why won’t you look at me?”
“The dimples,” I muttered. I wanted to touch them. I was an oddly physical guy, but not purely in a sexual manner. I liked to put my hands on things. I did it with all my art. It was the way I interacted with the world. Hands were important to me.
“What about them?” he asked.
“I’ve gotten rather fond of them.” I made myself open my eyes. “I don’t know why I’m admitting all of this to you.”
“I like when you tell me those things.” He set his drink down, which made me smile.
“Can I touch them?” I asked.
“My dimples?” His grin gave away his amusement. “I don’t think I’ve ever had such a request. Not even from a fan.”
“I’m very physical. And no I don’t necessarily mean sexually,” I added when I saw his raised brow and questioning glance. “I like to interact with everything in my environment and I’ve always been a touchy-feely person. I like to hug my friends and cuddle. Touch is important to me—for my art, for people.” I was rambling now, the alcohol in my head and trying to over explain so I didn’t seem odd. I didn’t want him to think less of me. “I have a texture thing I guess—”
He grabbed my hand and brought it to his face. I brushed the backs of my knuckles over his cheek then placed my hand softly on the side of his neck so I could rub my thumb over the place his dimple would appear if he were smiling.
His lips started to turn up. “And?”
“You have lovely skin.”
His smile widened and I pressed the pad of my thumb over the divot.
“I like touch, too,” Tobias said softly.
I lifted my other hand and placed it on the other side of his face. He closed his eyes, long lashes laying on his cheeks, and a smile on his full lips. A god among men and in my grasp, but out of my reach. Forbidden fruit.
“Thank you.” I dropped my hands and sat back. “I need to go.”
“Why?”
I didn’t have a good explanation. I had to go because if I didn’t go, I was going to kiss him. And I knew if I started kissing Tobias, I wouldn’t want to stop.
