REVIEW:
This is the 6 installment in the action packed series about covert military men and their adventures. This story gives us Doyle, the hated Valentine Team leader and Perez, the soldier moved to their team.
These two men each have their own set of problems. Doyle is a tad insecure if he’s the best leader for his team and Perez is still hurt and angry over his old team’s dishonesty and betrayal.
This story was more heavy on action and adventure than the previous ones in the series which I loved. Doyle and Perez’s attraction to each other was written in a more subtle manner and wasn’t delved fully in until mid-point in the story. The emphasis was placed more on the building of the backstory of how Perez’s team came to be mixed up in the sordid mess that occurred in the previous book.
I really enjoyed this book. The action and excitement and adventure in this really kept my interest. The storyline and characters are fabulous and I am looking forward to reading the next book. This series is awesome.
