With a dash of hot, sexy stranger
For a spicy and sweet new beginning.
Sawyer can’t believe his cheating ex has chosen Bar 28 to hold his engagement party. The grin on his smug face proves he has done it on purpose.
Devon wanted a night at home after a long week working in his bike garage, not going to his silly, spoilt little brother’s engagement party.
But when he sees the tall, hot bartender, with his long dark blond hair tied back and sexy stubble, Devon is captivated.
And Devon, even taller than him, with thick dark brown hair and full beard, ticks all Sawyer’s boxes.
After swapping numbers, Sawyer finds himself on a date with a man who can give him what he’s craved, a man he can submit to, a daddy who lets him be the boy he needs to be.
Devon discovers in Sawyer everything he’s ever wanted—a boy to call his own.
This is a sweet and sexy gay romance, filled with tender moments and emotions that will make your heart happy.
Sawyer is the second book in the BAR 28 series and can be read as a standalone.

REVIEW:
This was a good addition to the series. I love Sawyer. He’s overcome a lot to get to where he is in more ways than one. It’s not been easy, but he’s been a fighter, even when he hasn’t felt like it. And I admire him for it.
Sawyer just had it shoved in his face that his boyfriend has been cheating and lying about him and their relationship for over six months. And he’s devastated. But over time, he’s learned he’s had to get over it and move on. He’s actually starting to feel better about himself and life, until one day the bar has a party and Sawyer finds out it’s his ex and his new boyfriend’s engagement party. And his ex is doing all he can to gloat and flaunt it. But someone sees some of what’s going on and Devon wants to know the truth. When he finds out, he’s livid. One, for Devon’s callous behavior, and two, that his brother is in a relationship with the punk. No one really cares for the ex and Devon is doing his best to make things right. Especially seeing as Sawyer is perfect in Devon’s eyes. And when he hears Sire out of Sawyer’s mouth, it’s like coming home. But both have pasts to get through and communication to iron out. They almost lose each other twice over misunderstandings and it’s time to iron things out for good before they lose what they are just starting to get.
I’m telling you, they need to invent a way to be able to reach through a book and smack some of these people. UGH. Between Sawyer’s parents and his ex, and his brother’s underhandedness, I want to smack them all. At least with his brother, it wasn’t that he was trying to be that way. It was because of their parents. But the one thing I loved, is that it took Sawyer a while to fully grasp the concept, but for Devon, when he said he was all in, he meant it. And he was Sawyer’s rock. His Daddy, the one who helped care for him. It didn’t mean their journey was easy. Quite the opposite to be honest. And it took some buttkicking from friends to get it through someone’s head. But everyone has to learn how to communicate in a way that works for them. It’s not an easy thing. Everyone has baggage and things they want to hide about themselves. Including Sawyer and Devon both. But as they learn each other, they learn what it takes to be in a trusting, committed relationship.
It’s a great little series. I hope that a certain someone finds his happy ending. And with the way it ended in this book, it’s quite possible.
