REVIEW:
This is the 1st book in this series and I’m really liking it so far. I love bodyguard stories and this one is pretty good. The storyline and characters are very much with the now. The author did a fantastic job of making it relevant to today’s times period and they also did a great job in telling the story from both MC’s perspectives. I particularly liked how she told the story from trey’s perspective. Oftentimes, when we see the children of these controversial and polarizing figures who branch out on their own, we often question their motives with their thoughts and actions are completely opposite from their loved ones. The author show the precarious positions many of these children are in how it may be virtually impossible for some of them to break free.
I also really liked how the author put as much time in telling Roman’s story. His interactions with his family were well written as the author introduced us to them without the focus being taken away from Roman himself.
The story flows quite well with the author managing to create the perfect balance of romance mystery action and suspense . It also sets you up nicely for the next book in the series , one that I am really looking forward to reading.
I definitely recommend this book if you’re a fan of bodyguards.
