He was still trying to convince himself that it was probably for the best and he should go outside and find an Uber to take him home, so when he walked out of the bathroom and saw the beautiful man leaning against the wall opposite him, he came to an abrupt stop.
Reed’s hair had fallen over his forehead again and he pushed it back, out of his eyes, as he rose to his full height and moved towards Jonah. Jonah didn’t budge. He wasn’t sure he even breathed. He was so surprised that the man had followed him, that he was still here, that he was still looking at him like he wanted to eat him alive, that he did nothing to pull away when Reed took him by the arm and pulled him close, turning them until he had Jonah pinned against the wall in the dim back hallway of the club.
“Reed?” Jonah’s voice came out hoarse, barely a whisper and he couldn’t be sure that the other man even heard him.
“Mmm…there you are.” Reed murmured, his hair falling back into his eyes as he leaned down until their faces were close together. “I was beginning to think you’d run away from me.”
“I…” Jonah attempted to awkwardly swallow past the lump that had suddenly formed in his throat.
He had no idea what to do in this situation. A ridiculously handsome man had him pinned to a wall in the back hall of a loud, dark club. Some serious, still sober part of his brain tried to tell him that he should be worried, that he was smaller than this man and should cry out for help or push him away. But another part of him, a bigger part of him, knew innately that he didn’t have anything to fear from this man.
No matter what doubts he might have about Reed’s intentions towards him, whether he believed the man had approached him as a joke or a dare, nothing about the man scared Jonah or told him that he needed to fear him.
“Jonah.” Reed’s voice was low and husky near his ear as he boxed Jonah in, “You weren’t planning to run away from me, were you?”
“Um…” Jonah swallowed hard and licked his suddenly dry lips.
Reed groaned and the sound seemed to vibrate through his chest and deep into Jonah’s bones as he pressed closer, licking his own lips, “You have no idea how sexy you are, do you?”
Jonah shook his head because he had no other response. He had no idea what Reed was talking about. Sexy? Jonah was the opposite of sexy. He was a dork. A nerd. An awkward, shy, Brainiac with no social graces.
It was Reed that walked and talked and moved like sex on legs. It was Reed that all but oozed sexuality from his very pores. Jonah could feel the heat of the taller man surrounding him, feel the strength in Reed’s muscles as he pressed his beautiful body against Jonah, and he gasped when he also felt the hard length of a thick cock against his belly as Reed pushed his hips forward.
“Fuck, I want you.” Reed rocked his hips against Jonah again and his hands slid down Jonah’s sides, holding him there as he leaned forward and nipped at his ear. “I wanted you the moment I saw you.”
“Wh-why?” The question came out before Jonah could think to pull it back but Reed didn’t laugh at him, instead he only leaned down to nuzzle his nose against Jonah’s throat and lick at the rapidly beating pulse he found there.
“You don’t know why.” Reed all but growled. “Which is exactly why.”
Jonah bit his lip to hold back a sigh of pleasure when Reed’s tongue trailed a path up his neck towards his ear. He wondered in that moment if Reed was drunk too. That would explain all of this. Reed wasn’t making any sense. None at all. He wanted Jonah because Jonah didn’t know why he wanted him? It was a riddle without a solution. Reed had to be drunk. That was the only thing that made any sense.
“Reed.” He tried to say the man’s name again, to tell him that they were both drunk and this was likely a mistake but he only earned another groan.
“You even make my name sound sexy.” Reed whispered near his ear, “You don’t have any idea how special you are but fuck, I want to show you. I want to kiss you everywhere. Want to taste you, find out if you’re as sweet as I think you are.”
Jonah’s breathing had sped past the point of no return. He could barely make out the words Reed was whispering against his ear over the sound of his blood whooshing in his veins. His brain, even through the fog of alcohol, told him that he needed to be careful but his body was telling his always sensible brain to shut up. His hips rocked up to meet Reed’s of their own accord and he groaned when he realized his cock was hard with wanting too.
“That’s it.” Reed slid a hand to his ass and cupped, pulling him in even tighter, as if he was trying to meld their bodies together, “You want me too, don’t you?”
“I…” Jonah’s words trailed off on a whimper when Reed’s teeth sank into the cord of his neck and he jolted as pleasure and pain tore through him. The sound that came from him was like nothing he’d ever heard before. It wasn’t a word so much as a broken plea. “Yes.”
Reed grunted, pulling back just enough that Jonah could make out his beautiful face in the dim light. His eyes were hooded and his lips were slick with moisture. He was breathing hard too and for a split-second Jonah wondered just how far Reed would take this joke, or dare or bet, or whatever it was. But he only barely had a second to consider because in the next moment Reed’s mouth was on his and for the first time in his life, Jonah forgot to think at all.
Reed’s mouth on his wiped out every doubt, every fear, everything but the need to hold onto this man and accept whatever it was he wanted to give. If anyone had asked Jonah before that moment, if he’d ever been kissed, he would have answered yes. Of course he’d been kissed. But when Reed’s mouth settled over his, lips pushing and pulling, tongue teasing and demanding, Jonah knew with absolute certainty that he’d been wrong. He’d never been kissed before, not like this.
