*Blood Oath is Book 1 in the Legacy of the Assassins series. It is not a standalone and ends in a soft cliffhanger. The story within the book concludes at the end, however, the bigger story continues in Books 2 and 3, which are be available for preorder. This book is an urban fantasy/paranormal m/m romance story. It contains a polyamorous relationship and no cheating.

“Can you fight him?” Ryder asked tentatively, and Felix didn’t take offense to the question.
“I can fight him. Our magics might not be the same, but we’re matched.”
“He’s a sorcerer.”
“And I’m a witch.” He gave Ryder several sweet kisses before sliding off his lap so he could sit next to him. “Just because you’ve never seen what I can do doesn’t mean I can’t do it.”
“That’s true,” Ryder agreed, and his implicit faith in him made Felix smile. “Between our assassin skills and your magic, we have a chance.”
“Two assassins and a magic is a good start, but it’s not enough.”
“Yeah, that’s the way I was leaning too.” Ryder sighed. “We need help”
“The only person I can think of to help is Luka, but it’s the start of the lunar cycle.” Felix bit his lip and glanced over at Ryder.
“Yeah. A wolf would be helpful right about now.” Ryder looped his arm around Felix’s shoulders and pulled him close.
Felix sighed and leaned a little more heavily against Ryder.
When they’d started their relationship nearly two years ago, he’d been honest and told Ryder that he was polyamorous and he was already in a relationship with his oldest friend, who just happened to be a lycanthrope. He’d been sure that would be a dealbreaker, that Ryder wouldn’t be able to get past his citizen upbringing and accept him for who he was, but Ryder had surprised him.
The two men had never met, and he tried not to talk about the other too much because their relationships were completely separate, but he loved how both men were okay with how things were and never put any pressure on him to choose between them.
