No one, except his best friend Charlie, but no matter what feelings Brad may have for him, he’s not going there. Charlie deserves better, and Brad craves something Charlie can’t provide.
Brad wants just sex – filthy, slutty sex, and he gets what he wants with FBI agent Miles. But then Miles wants more than sex, and something blooms between him and Charlie as well. Now Brad is screwed, because he can’t let anyone close, not ever again.
Because nobody ever chooses him. Or do they?
No Shame is a steamy MMM romance and the fourth and last book in the No Shame series that needs to be read in order. It ends with a happy ever after for all characters, including those from the previous books in the series.
REVIEW:
This is the fourth book in the series No Shame by Ms. Nora Phoenix and narrated by Mr. Kenneth Obi.
Brad and Charlie have been friends since they were in college together. Brad saved Charlie from being bullied. Brad was Charlie’s teacher. They had been inseparable since. Charlie feels deeply for his friend, but Brad seems oblivious or just doesn’t feel the same towards him. Charlie does drag. But he has to stop for some time after his then boyfriend hurt him pretty bad. He has left that boyfriend but the boyfriend is still looking for him. Brad has been helping him.
Brad thinks he does not deserve to be loved and be prioritized. People he cared about always leave him in the end. Although his friend Charlie has stuck around. He is afraid of going into any relationships for fear of being left behind, fear of not being chosen. That’s why he only wants sex because he seems to think that his medical condition makes him undesirable so his mind is already conditioned for them to leave him eventually!
Miles got injured, is healing and Brad is taking care of his sexual needs. He also has a condition that others may not understand. Brad’s other friends has accepted Miles in their home so he can recuperate. As he spends more time with Brad and Charlie, Miles gets to know them better, and become friends with all the other couples in the house as well, Indy, Noah, Josh and Connor, Blake and Aaron. He starts to understand why these guys are so accepting of each other and welcoming. He also learned the traumas/experiences each had to endure to get where they are right now. Although Brad and Charlie are starting to mean more to him for each day that passes.
For three people to have a strong relationship, they have to really know each other and understand who they are to each other. Each must be confident enough that the other two people in the relationship also see things the way he does and will work hard towards solidifying it. It is not easy merging three personalities to forge a strong three-way love story, it will need constant communication for all three of them to be on the same page every time. They also have to be accepting of each other’s whole being and personality, not just the positive ones, but the negative ones as well. You have to be the person who’ll give them the strength to be the best version of themselves that they could ever be! It sounds like hard work but if the love is strong and unconditional, it is not hard at all!
Mr. Kenneth Obi brought to life these complex characters that Ms. Nora Phoenix has created brilliantly and we can feel the love, laughter, sadness, insecurities and belonging in every scene and sound that we read and listened to. Thank you both for bringing to life these beautiful characters and giving us their amazing stories!
