REVIEW:
Even for those of you who aren’t really into BDSM, this is a sweet romantic story. And I really enjoyed it. I love L.M.’s works anyway so for me it was no question.
Ben is a little depressed that he’s alone on vacation. He was supposed to come on vacation with his friend and they would have a good time at BDSM week at this resort, but his friend had a medical emergency, and now Ben is all alone. And feeling very awkward. He was still a little tired from the trip but decided the next day to try to get out and meet at least one person. When he sees a lone man picking up things on the beach, he figures this is his chance. What he doesn’t expect, is the man is gorgeous and everything about him screams Dom and someone Ben wants to get to know. Rhys wants to get to know Ben just as much but he wants Ben to get to know him as him, not as the multimillionaire and major business owner he is. So when Ben wins the sand contest, he’s surprised to find it’s Rhys that he has the date with. But can Ben be ok with Rhys’s omission and continue to submit to the man, especially knowing they only have a short amount of time together?
I fell in love with Ben from the moment I started reading about him. He just has this sweet shy personality that leaves him so endearing. And when he meets Jules, I was so happy, because Jules is the boisterous ball of energy Ben needs to bring him out of his shell. You will LOVE Jules, by the way. He’s a sub with a naughty streak a mile wide and Dom who loves to spoil him rotten. But Ben also, when he meets Rhys, is never more sure than he’s ever been in his life about being a sub. And about it feeling right to be with Rhys. Rhys brings out a playful side to Ben as well. Bring out his inhibitions and making him feel like a new man and I love what they’ve all done for him. He was perfect before with his shyness and just being so sweet, but now the rest of his personality is allowed to shine and in ways it never has before. And that makes him the most perfect of all.
