Beta Lucan has seen pack members around him fall in love and find happiness. His road to love seems a lot more complicated, however.
It’s not that he doesn’t know who he wants. He does. His chemistry with sexy alpha doctor Maz was instant, and his friendship with nerdy omega Sando has grown into love.
The problem? Maz doesn’t want a relationship, and Sando is clueless.
Looks like it’s all up to Lucan to make them realize the three of them belong together. But what if they never see it? Will his love be enough?
Beta’s Love is book 9 in the Irresistible Omegas series, a bestselling mpreg romance series which needs to be read in order to enjoy the plot lines fully. This friends to lovers MMM romance ends a cliffhanger, but these three will get their happy ever after in the next book, Omega’s Truth.
REVIEW:
I have loved this series from book 1. I really have. It’s been a whole different dynamic and I’ve loved seeing how everything has evolved. But I had a hard time with this one, big time. I still love the book and I loved seeing the birth of Hakon and the power of Lidon and his men from a different perspective. But what I had a hard time with in this book, was Sando. And I hope in the last book, someone finally truly sees what’s going on. Lucan suspects but has no proof. I hope Sando gets his happily ever after.
Lucan befriended Sando when no one else would. Not many people got Sando’s mind, thanks to his ‘father’.Sando had no social skills, no idea what it was like to be an omega, nothing. It was all work. But being out from his father’s thumb for a while, he was finally settling in. Making friends in Lucan and branching out even more. And was on a journey to discover why he was the way he was. Underdeveloped in all but brain. But because he was under a powerful pack, he was changing. As were those around him. He was feeling things he never felt before, and he was trying to learn what it meant to have and be a friend. Much less anything else. It’s not been an easy journey because he doesn’t understand what he doesn’t know. But with Lucan’s help and now Maz, he’s learning, and he’s found lovers in them as well. But now his father has been found and he’s spouted some very bad things to Sando, and some suspicious things as well. And even has taken to abusing him for defiance. Lucan knows something is up, but with all the new pack members and all the changes, no one is really paying attention or looking at what’s going on. And Lucan, after talking to his own father, has decided it’s time to take a stand for what is his. But it may not go as well as expected.
I’m seriously ticked about Sando. After the things his father has said and done, and the way he treated him when he was rescued. I’m beyond mad. I really hope Lucan and Maz can help him get out from under his father’s thumb. NO one deserves to be treated the way he has been and I’m just beyond upset at how this turned out. And not to mention, left hanging. I still love this series. Don’t get me wrong, but when you see how Sando is finally blossoming to how he is at the end, it’s bad. Sando is finally branching out, learning to be social, learning what it means to have lovers and mates. And it’s all taken away in one fell swoop. And it’s even harder because Maz is fearful, because of past relationships. Lucan is torn because he realizes he loves the two men and why and wants to jump in. But because it’s so new to them, feelings are getting hurt due to words and actions and it’s just a bad situation. And it’s one time I almost wish a pack member was dead. I don’t like Sando’s father at all. And I think he needs to go away to be honest.
I really hope book 10 is a happier ending. I know it says in the blurb it is, but I hope Sando doesn’t get more hurt in the process. I’m anxious to see how things will end.
