REVIEW:
I want to warn you now, this has some SERIOUS trigger moments for some. It deals with your good vs evil and the evil pulls out all the stops, with rape, murder, torture, attempted murder and so much more. It’s not a pretty picture in any way so if it is a problem for you, please be careful.
Having said that, I definitely want to read these next two books and see what’s going to happen. It’s not often that I get to read stories of reincarnation and the effects or aftereffects of moving to the next body. Or what happens to the souls in the in-between. And in this one, it’s one heck of a story. One man ‘wakes’ up to find himself not knowing who he is, where he is and what he’s doing there. All he knows is he has a ticket in the name of Daniel in his pocket. He assumes that’s who he is but he really doesn’t know. He finally finds a sweet lady in a diner that helps him, when others begin coming in to see him. But it starts with a man named Tam, whom he can’t seem to get past, and a story that has his mind doubting everything. But when he finds out the rest of the story from the others, he finds out it’s him the evil wants and they are all doing all they can to keep his soul intact. But he has to start over, and the nightmare may not ever end.
This really was an intriguing story for me. It almost sounds bad to say I enjoyed it so much because of some of the content, but I really did. Because it was a neat and different approach to the afterlife. And the next lives. But I love the characters that come with him as well. They have their own distinct personalities that make you wonder about them at some points, but they know what they’re doing and it’s time to move forward. The one that cracks me up the most is Alex and when you read the end of the book, you will see why. The naughty little booger. But each have a connection and a desire to make sure the good overcome every time. And all Tam knows in his new little body, is there’s a special boy his age that needs him. And it’s time to for the new life to truly begin.
I’m anxious to see if the next one picks up where this left off. I’m wondering how they’re going to overcome what’s coming to them. And after them. I’m really going to like this I believe. I think you will too.
