A strict Daddy. A sassy neighbour. Can opposites attract?
Blurb
After taking early retirement, Liam is happy avoiding people and tending to his roses. Or he was, until young film star Felix moves in next door.
With his cheeky, persistent, and very naughty behaviour, Felix gets under Liam’s skin instantly.
Felix needs Liam to teach him how to behave, but will calling the older man Daddy be enough to bring sunshine into Liam’s life?
A boy Made of Sunshine is a standalone gay romance, with mild D/s play, Daddy kink, a cute Dalmatian puppy, a ridiculous glow in the dark toy, and lots of brattish behaviour.
“Hi, neighbour,” he said with a cheerful grin.
“Your music’s too loud,” Liam barked. “And who the hell does yoga in their underwear?”
Felix bent his knees. “They’re yoga shorts, not underwear. Do you like them?”
“They look ridiculous,” Liam huffed.
Considering they were navy blue with bright pink hearts all over them, he could understand why Liam might think they were underwear, and yes, they were a little ridiculous.
“They’re meant to feel like a second skin when you’re wearing them,” Felix informed Liam as he stood tall and stretched. “Great for exercising.” Then he turned and sauntered towards the fence. He stopped, tilting his hips coquettishly. “You can look at the logo if you don’t believe me.” He grazed his fingers over the small logo, which was just above the hem on the outside of the left leg.
Liam said nothing, but his expression was stormy, and his lips twitched as though he was trying to work out what to say.
“They’re form-fitting,” Felix said in a lower tone. “But I’m sure you can see that. They’re soft to touch…” He let his voice trail off as he stared up into Liam’s eyes.
“You haven’t turned the music off yet,” Liam said, his voice strained.
“Do I have to?”
“Yes.”
Felix folded his arms loosely. “Obeying you wasn’t one of the rules you set. You told me not to wind you up and not to answer back.”
“You are winding me up.”
“Am I?” Felix lifted his eyebrows.
“You know you are,” Liam grated out through clenched teeth. “Now turn the music off.”
Felix didn’t move. Liam stared at him angrily, but Felix was damned if he was going to back down.
“New rule,” Liam said. “Do as I say.”
Colette’s personal love story began at university, where she met her future husband. An evening of flirting, in the shadow of Lancaster castle, eventually led to a fairytale wedding. She’s enjoying her own ‘happy ever after’ in the north of England with her husband, two beautiful children and her writing.
