REVIEW:
If you want a quick romantic paranormal story, this is for you. It’s sweet and romantic as one MC is very attracted to the other, but feels he’s out of his league. What he doesn’t know, is the other MC wants him just as much.
Jamie has been attracted to Trent for a while but he doesn’t fit in with his friends. He shows up to the beach to hang out, but it’s more off to the side. Then the mystery gifts start showing up and Jamie hopes it’s Trent but was told he was wrong. When one of Trent’s so called friends, says it’s from him, Jamie is heartbroken, then terrified as he realizes he’s been set up as they try to kill him. And try again to kill Trent as well. Jamie never feels he’s brave, but he knows he has to be now and will do all he can to save Trent’s life. And hopes he can make it in time. And hopefully, they can become more than friends as well.
I love little Jamie. Just because he’s a little guy doesn’t mean he’s not valuable. And I hate bullies. He’s so out of sorts thinking someone out of his league like Trent would like him and I love that Trent is trying to court him. It’s just so sweet. I hate that what they were growing was almost ruined by punks, but thanks to quick thinking, they save each other and the real truth about how they felt came out. And it was perfect.
It’s just a sweet romantic story. A little angst but just adorable. I love it.
