“We’re going to be married in a week. You’re going to be my husband, and we’re going to live happily ever after.” Madden
It feels like I’ve been waiting to marry Thane my entire life. And with our big day only a week away, our friends insist on a bachelor party in Vegas.
An outrageous scavenger hunt, an unexpected trip to the altar, and a wild night with an ex-boyfriend. You know we don’t do anything half-assed.
Please note: This is a multi-POV novella with lots of sexy times (including one MF and one MMF scene). Unlike the rest of the Heathens Ink series, this one cannot be listened to as a stand-alone.
REVIEW:
The whole gang is in Vegas for Madden and Thane’s bachelor party the weekend before their wedding. They want to celebrate their bachelor party in a big way thus they all decide to go to Vegas for it! After being together for a little over two years, they still feel all the excitement of a new couple. And with their friends with them, they are sure to have a great time! They have planned out some games that they can all get into to make it just that much more memorable!
A treasure hunt is organized to make things more exciting among the couples/throuple. Each of them has to complete the list and whoever gets to do more and first will win. It is shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend, not just for Madden and Thane but for the other couples, too!
We can hear the different voices of Mr. Kenneth Obi as he gives life to the various characters. We can hear each pairing get into all sorts of shenanigans when they are on their own. Add to that a scavenger hunt and it becomes a weekend to remember.
What I love about this book is the fact that we can listen to each couple/throuple as they each have the chance to tell us how much they love each other. Voicing all of these characters, in one book, is a big feat in itself and one that the narrator was able to deliver in flying colors. The different voice inflections given to each character clearly distinguished who is talking in that particular scene.
