Tyler is a sexy young newbie to the New York City leather scene. When he eyes a muscled, masked stranger, his hunky best friend Andrés warns him to be careful due to the string of recent murders in the leather community.
The masked stranger hides more than his face, and that is revealed when you go back far enough. True evil is made, not born.
REVIEW:
So, I have to be careful, because I don’t want to give anything away, but if you’ve read Leather Head, then you already know a lot of what is going on. If you haven’t, you need to. I will tell you right now though, Matt’s books are not for the faint of heart. They are horror stories. Truly. But if you love a good horror, then these are the books for you.
This is the only book where I can think I actually felt sorry for the serial killer. At one point, at least. Because it’s true, evil is made. And Leather’s evil was definitely made. The only thing is, he could have changed his ways, but he let the evil and hate consume him and make him who he is. And Tyler is his next mark. In spite of his friend warning him not to go.
There’s not a whole lot more I can say without giving away so much. But I do have to say, Matt’s done it again. He knows his horror and he does it well. I love his books. So much. There’s just something about the writing, even though a lot of it is depraved, because…hello, horror. But it’s just so good. So yeah, it’s another hit for me. And I can’t wait to see where he’s going to go next.
