I hope everyone reading this is staying healthy and managing in this crazy brave new world. If you’re home is anything like ours, you’re still adjusting to the new normal.
As I mentioned last month, I also write MM Romance under the Andy Gallo pen-name. There are times I forget who I am. My real name is Andrew/Andy, so that makes it harder and easier at the same time.
Anyta Sunday and I are co-writing a series – Harrison Campus. The first book, Better Be Sure, was released in March, 2019. Originally, Anyta and I had planned a three-book series with Dreamspinner. Shortly after Better Be Sure was released, Dreamspinner gave us our rights back and books two and three were never released.
Fast forward to now.
On Monday, June 1, 2020, Better Be Sure will be re-released. Which for us was exciting enough because that meant books two and three would follow soon. But since we are doing this ourselves, we got to make the choices that others made for us last time around.
First, we got a new cover.
The cover is by Cate Ashwood [Cate Ashwood Designs.]
Second, there will be an audio version. Nick J. Russo finished the narration for Better Be Sure and is working on book two – Better Have Heart. The audio version of Better Be Sure is in the eternal review queue, so not sure when it will escape, but soon after the eBook is released we hope.
There are two more books already completed and up for pre-order
Book 2 Better Have Heart:Available July 1, 2020:
Book 3 Better Be True: Available August3, 2020
Last, there may be more books in the series. Anyta and I are discussing two more books, or one more and maybe a new spin off series. We’ll see.
Hopefully some of you will take a look and read the series. If so, I would love to hear your thoughts on this my first foray into MM Romance and being a self-published author.
Until next month, stay healthy!

Blurb:
Orphan Jackson Murphy just staked his legacy on a bet.
Holy shit, his impulsive ass is in trouble.
Bring a guy to the fraternity formal? Pfft. Easy. Won’t be him getting kicked out of the house.
So what if his luck with guys on campus has been shitty? Ed Knowles is Jack’s winning ticket.
Tall, handsome, hardworking—and he doesn’t go to Harrison. One serendipitous meeting, and sparks—and coffee cups—are flying.
But with every stolen look, every secret kiss, every clandestine touch Ed becomes more than just an answer to a bet.
And these cloak-and-dagger meetings that set Jack on fire? They mask one tiny, enormous obstacle: Ed’s not out.
What does Jack do now?
Hold on to his legacy… or his heart?
“Better Be Sure” is a sweet, slow burn M/M romance with a heart-pounding HEA. This New Adult, college, opposite sides of the tracks novel can be read as a standalone and in any order.
Available June 1, 2020
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of ‘Better Be Sure.’ It was wonderful!
