Ford never wanted to be a Daddy. So how did he end up with not one, but two boys who need one…?
Master Ford loves his life. He’s respected in his club, has his choice of boys to play with, and is happy staying single.
When the club owner asks him to take in two abused boys, Ford reluctantly agrees. But when one doesn’t even talk, and the other is a bundle of hostility, Ford wonders if he’s in over his head.
It takes a long time to win their trust, as the abuse they suffered is worse than Ford could’ve imagined. But when he discovers that Thierry is a little and that Jathan needs a firm Daddy, Ford questions if he can be what both his boys need. And where do his own needs fit into this?
Slow Hand is the fourth book in the Perfect Hands series. It can be read as a standalone but may be more fun if you’ve read the previous books. It’s a 108k word slow burn MMM romance with two hurting boys, a man who discovers new sides to himself, and one very happy end. It features daddy care including age play.
REVIEW:
This turned out so different than what I expected. I have to warn you right off the bat, there are some major triggers in this. A ‘dom’, which is not what he was, abused two subs. Severely. He constantly beat one, leaving devastating scars and treated the other so bad, he wouldn’t even speak. He played them against each other and took their love for each other and made one hate the other. It’s a bad situation. So please be careful.
Ford is used to being the Dom everyone wants a scene with. He’s very good at what he does, and very good at training them. He’s tried almost everything as far as kinks, with the exception of the daddy/boy kink. He has nothing against, because he actually loves seeing the littles and the interaction. But it’s not until he gets a phone call from club owner, Jon, about two subs beaten and severely abused by a so called Dom, that Ford has to call on everything he knows and he still gets it wrong. Thierry seems like the perfect submissive, wanting to please and serve, but it wasn’t until a playdate with Raf, he got to see the whole aspect of what Thierry wants. Jathan is a whole other ballgame. He has no clue what to do with him for the most part because this young man is nothing but anger and rage. But little by little, he’s working his way in and is discovering what Jathan needs. He doesn’t always get it right and he’s the first to admit he’s wrong. Which is a shock for the boys. Because the monster never apologized. And never treated them with care and concern. But with Ford giving into the needs they both had, he was reaching them on different levels they needed and finally is able to help them open up and start purging the bad away. But when Jathan and Thierry see Ford’s site and what his kinks really are, they finally feel like the other shoe has dropped and they will never be enough for him, because some things for them are hard limits. And it’s going to be up to Ford to prove to them he means what he has said all along. And finally tell them everything pertaining to himself.
I hate, hate, hate, those punks who think being a Dom means you get to abuse people or make them do whatever you want no matter the consequences or how bad they destroy someone. I have never in my life wanted to reach in a book and beat the fire out of someone. It is such a clear abuse of power and trust and my heart broke for these boys in ways I can’t even begin to describe. But I have to hand it to Ford. Never being a Daddy, he did everything in his power to make sure he did right by these boys. And if that meant being a Daddy, then that’s what he was going to be. He was going to show these boys how the true lifestyle was. Not that crap they were subjected to. He was going to show them trust and patience. Compassion and love and anything else they needed. And he did it in spades. Even when Jathan pushed him to his ultimate limits, he still never raised his hand in anger and promised he never would. He showed them what true trust was.
It didn’t mean it was an easy road. Oh no. It was a very, very hard one. While Thierry was fairly easy to get to the root of, Jathan bucked at everything. But he needed to know his boundaries and how far Ford was going to go. He needed to be able to trust that Ford would never hurt them like the monster did. In any way he had to. And because of it, both boys started to blossom beautifully. And that’s what makes it worth it. Because with these two, trust and submission weren’t given easily. Ford had to work hard for it. And so when he got it, it was worth more than any money, jewel or anything else in the world. It was special.
