BLURB:
In an Alpha dominated world, Oslo Hall had to fight for his right to make a living for himself. It wasn’t always easy, but since he’d grown up with parents who had to work multiple jobs to put food on the table, he was used to working hard. But that left little time for things like love. Oh, he’d tried. He’d even gotten married, but it wasn’t until the divorce that he realized, he’d never been in love with his husband. Too bad he hadn’t discovered that until after he’d gotten pregnant.
Bradford Radcliff had spent his entire career fighting for the rights of Omegas in family court. He was proud of the work he’s done. But it wasn’t until he met Oslo Hall, who might lose his unborn child if the Alpha father decided to demand custody, that Bradford realized just how important it was to win. The thought of Oslo having to give up his own child was more than Bradford could bear, especially since somewhere along the way he’d fallen in love with both Oslo and his unborn child.
If only that were all that was against them, they might stand a chance. But the Hart’s Medical Center stalker has targeted Oslo and the threats had them both terrified, especially when Shale decides he’s going to try and catch the stalker using Oslo as bait.
Warning: Graphic threats made by a stalker.
PLEASE NOTE: Although each book focuses on a different couple, and they all have HEAs, this series is better enjoyed when read in order! Join us in trying to figure out who the stalker is!
REVIEW:
Well, this definitely took a turn I was surprised about and one that I was super happy about. You do need to pay attention to the warning in the blurb, though. The threats from the stalker are very dark and disturbing. I love this series, though. It’s sweet and funny. Shale cracks me up so bad in it.
But this story is about Oslo. An omega nurse in the hospital. He’s just suffered through a divorce, that has him reeling, because his ex didn’t seem to want a family and didn’t seem to show much affection. But Oslo soon found out, it was because his ex was using all that attention on someone else. And it was a slap in the face. Now Oslo is pregnant and the stalker is after him. And Bradford, an attorney, has made a vow to himself, that no one will hurt Oslo again. Or ever. But while Oslo’s being targeted worse than the others, Oslo also realizes he might know who the stalker is. Or have a few clues. But no one is either listening or they can’t seem to find the right link needed to tie it all together. And now, another omega is targeted and who it is will shock you to the core. Especially considering the other new development to go along with it. But you have to read to find out lol. Unfortunately, Shale had a plan that almost worked to stop whoever it is stalking the omegas. But they got away. So what’s it going to take now to keep everyone safe? Because the ante has just been severely upped.
I love sweet Oslo. I felt so bad for him in this story. Thinking he was the one at fault for his marriage not working. I hate the way spouses do that. They demean their partners while they go get their jollies off with someone else and think that it’s ok. So, even though he felt safe with Bradford, I don’t blame him for not wanting to jump in to anything either. It’s scary when you’ve been hurt that way. And although Oslo may be glad it’s over with Oscar, it still burns. That’s a scar that won’t go away easy. Because it will always be…what if. But I have to hand it to Bradford. As frustrated as Oslo was getting, he was doing his darndest to make sure Oslo knew he was cherished, instead of just jumping into bed with him. He wanted Oslo to know that what he was doing was out of love, not lust. And he was going to be in this for the long haul. He knew he needed to prove that to Oslo, so Oslo would never have any doubts like he did with his ex.
I’m happy with the new development in this story too. I just have to say, it’s about dang time lol. I’m really ready to see where this is going to go now, because that was one heck of a development to bombshell us with. So I need the next book like now lol.
